Hi Guys

I might be in the minority but I for one hope we don't sign Ibrahimovic. In my opinion it will be a waste of an awful lot of money for just 1 season. I would rather spend that money on a much younger and hungrier player that will be a long term signing. As I say it's just my opinion.

Me, too. Such a shame we couldn't have got him 5 years ago. Love the guy. He'd have been worth it for the entertainment value alone.

Perfect signing for me. A lot of people complain about youth not getting a chance, so where would Rashford be if we sign Ibra? Remember we have Rooney that isn't going anywhere, and Martial long term #9. Young players can learn from Ibra and he is going to retire in a year or 2.

We need some swagger back, ego with substance. He is still World Class imo, and especially if LVG stays he will suit this boring style, being able to hold up the ball and link the ponderous midfield.

All depends on LVG situation for me, but I think Ibra is a win/ win.

You say spend the money on a younger, hungrier forward. A younger forward at the level of Ibrahimovic would set us back £40m+ in terms of transfer fee whereas Zlatan would be a free.

He will score 20 goals for us and has that swagger. Guys like Martial and rash ford will only benefit from playing with him and training and learning. has done it everywhere he has gone and has won league titles with every team he has played. He will not come if LVG is there.

Hard to find decent strikers at the moment and all will cost a fortune. on a free he is worth it.

Ozzy, Free means very little given his reported wage demands, some have suggested twice Rooney's take.

What does it matter what a player is paid, it's not our money.

He would score more goals next season than our current 300k p week captain had scored in last 2 or 3 seasons combined imo.

Hi Guys
He may be on a free but his wage demands will be astronomical. The numbers that have been quoted are as high as £600,000 a week. LvG has stated that he wants fast forwards well that certainly isn't Ibra which isn't surprising at his age. I think he could score goals in the Premiership but in a team that creates a bundle of chances and that certainly isn't us at the moment. That money would be better spent on other options in my humble opinion.
