Not a rumour - just my opinion. I am not going to pretend I have been talking to Ryan Giggs's house maid or shared a pint with Moyes's gardener.

I fully expect Fabregas to sign a new improved Barca contract soon. He has probably given us a bit of encouragement to get some guarantee of playing time and an improved contract. This was a guy who did everything he could to get to Barcelona. Why on earth would he want to come to Manchester? We are being played.

I sincerely doubt we have any chance of either Bale or Ronaldo - 60 - 80m to spend? No chance. I really don't think we are able to compete at this level.

I expect Fellani to be the signed, a forward and maybe another midfielder or left back. I think Rooney will be sold for around the £30m mark to a premier league rival and he will spend the next 12 months reminding us how mental we are for selling him.

I expect and our net spend will be around £30m max on transfers after Rooney sale.

Hope I'm wrong, we'll see.

I cannot think it would cost £25-£30m to sack Moyes. I would fully expect him to have some performance targets - Champions League football being a minimum and it is looking unlikely. A contract without minimum achievements or targets would be unbelievable.

Purely my opinion, but I would be surprised if there is not a least some consideration of a change of manager. This season has been very poor and surely not was expected.

What a mess. Still time to screw up the transfer for the big haired lump. Be surprised if we make Champs League footy next season.

We won the league last season without actually being that good. This year the other contenders have taken the transfer window seriously - the Ozil signing is a great one. Even the scousers have strengthened immensely.

Depressing times ahead folks .

Selling Rooney would be insane. It would weaken our side and give Cheslea a highly motivated PL winning striker who would spend the next 12 months trying to shove it up us.

As for signing anybody - as we can't even sign a left back from down the East Lancs, I doubt very much Mr. Woodward is going to deliver much at all.

Another vote for Cantona, without a doubt for me. Best / D Edwards were not of my generation so never had the chance to see them in person but went to a lot of games were Cantona played. We were almost unbeatable with him in the team and not just a great footballer - he was a magician. He would control a game and the skill, oh the skill. we could do with just a tenth of his creativity now.
