I'll preemptively state 'What a turnaround from the lads'!
More of that second half display required, less of the first half.

It was great to see. Finally. But it does make you wonder why they couldn't be bothered in previous games, or even the first half.

About time! Nice to see someone with a bit of balls about them in Cunha. Brilliant second half now let’s crack on.

It looked like the players didn't keep to the tactics set out before the game and played out in the first half. Got in the dressing room at half time, had a shout and decided they didn't want to go out of the competition so let's ignore him and go for it.

I still don't know
1. How Carrick preferred Rashford over Cunha for so long
2. How Lacey doesn't start over Amad
3. How Dalot earns a living at football
4. How Amass doesn't get time at LB in front of Dalot

Heaven help us if one, very welcome, win keeps Carrick in place.

Dalot kills me, yet he'll start again on Sunday. Absolutely woeful. As for Carrick that will keep him a while longer, the second half performance gives the board an excuse to carry on and point to a turn around. Can't see it but they aren't too smart.

Lacey cameo was superb. Proper attitude and what a touch he has.

Despite him getting pelters, I like Cunha. Think he could be a big player for us if we let
Him.

So let me get this right Red Man, if the tactics are wrong it's Carrick, if the tactics are right, they ignored him? Interesting take.

Yeah, that's what happened Red Man ?.

Hi, my name is Red Man, these are my blinkers.

Ah the crew are out who say it's all the players fault, it's not Carrick until we have one half of football that doesn't resemble the managers tactics and win, now it's Carrick the mastermind. I rest my case.

Nobody is saying that Red Man, but you see what you want to see. We have been dreadful, the second half last night was awesome. Carrick gets some credit for that.

AJH
The first half was beyond dreadful, a lack of effort or passion and tactically clueless. Looked to me like the players felt they want to continue to play in this competition no matter who the manager is. Just pleased to see it, but I don't think it was a sudden half time masterclass from Carrick. Carrick still has to go.

Or maybe, being devils advocate, they finally followed what he wanted or he changed his tactics and it worked?

Always three sides to every argument. Two opinions and the facts.

I'm assuming these are the same players that carried out the tactics in the first half v Chelsea and at half time, had a shout and decided they didn't want to run around in the 2nd half?!

The other option is to say well done good comeback. On Sat good 1st half carrick got the blame from you redman at half time in that game. Last night he takes the credit for the 2nd half.

Good comeback

Problem is Ken, some fans spend so much time saying when we lose it isn't the manager, it's the players and no point changing manager. But then we win and it's the manager.
It didn't look tactical last night that changed the second half but they just looked self motivated. The Carrick demeanour hardly changes, can he deliver the SAF half time speech or was it Bruno who reports say was the one shouting and motivating at half time?

Red Man, I don't for one minute think Carrick has shown himself to be good enough. So, no need to throw out sweeping, incorrect generalisations.

C'mon, you're better than that, fella.

But you have to expect a response when you start making up stuff about the dressing room that no-one knows, other than those that were actually present.
