Can you just imagine how players like dalot rashford Fred and Shaw are feeling. Along with all the others of course.
But imo it's the first time any of these guys have been in a proper club football team.
The ajax Madrid lads and erikson know what that's like. They must be buzzing and wondering how it hasn't always been like this. The game is easier for them even though their working harder. 1 common purpose 1 common goal. We before I at all times.
Bruno has been in a team like that ddg has. Garnacho is lucky to be coming into this environment.
We can only hope sancho embraces things.

It's all very encouraging. Rashford is on fire, Shaw looks very assured wherever he is asked to play, Dalot has stepped up, and Fred, who I love, looked like a real player yesterday.

My hope is that others also improve and that more youngsters seize their chance in the way Garnacho has. A mixture of a couple of new signings, a couple of players showing improvement, and a couple of youngsters stepping up, and we have a half decent squad.

The big gap for me is a top goalscorer, which is reflected in our goals scored. Defensively we are competitive but so many teams have scored more than us. There's a great feeling about the club right now, but I really would like a few more goals.

Good post. I agree with you about a top goalscorer. Hopefully, Weghorst surprises us all and chips in with quite a few goals.

My only concern is if Rashford gets injured.

I'm not sure whether Wehghorst will start against Palace. Martial hasn't really done anything to put him ahead of Weghorst. I'd go as far as to say that Elanga appears to try harder than Martial, when played up top.

I'd play Rashford centrally centrally and promote Garnacho who has regularly been a game changer.

Good thread this. Also to add, United the becomes an interesting choice for some players. A team on the ascendancy, playing a decent brand of football with a very talented manager at the helm. That's a completely different proposal from a few years ago where money would probably be the defining factor for someone to join.

Mumbles I feel garnacho is better off the bench at present. He really stretches and terrifies the defence in the later period of the game.

Hopefully the 17 goals in 7 since the World Cup represents a sustainable uptick - 2.5 goals a game is a vast improvement. If Rashford stops scoring someone else is going to have to step up though.

Weghorst and Sancho will add much needed depth to our attack with games coming in thick and fast.

Here's hoping Sancho hits the ground running when he is back. In top form, Sancho is a brilliant addition.

I'm sure Weghorst will be fine and would give him the start against Palace, martial is abysmal.

Rashford on the left and hopefully, if we can get a few early goals, give him a rest.

I honestly couldn't believe how bad Martial was on Saturday.
Lazy and disinterested, he barely broke a sweat whilst he was on the pitch.
He needs to go in the summer, he's robbed United for 8 season now.
