I know we weren't quick out the blocks but that goal Bamford to me was 100% offside. Then the hand ball in build up for second.

We needed cover for CM and we didn't get it in January. We brought in Sabitzer who is an excellent player but is not was was needed. We are playing two more matches without Casemiro, rest of season wiithout Eriksen, mctominay picking up injuries. So now, we have to trust the youngsters or put someone like Lindelof in the DM position for a couple of matches.
It looked great for top 4 few weeks back but we've stalled a bit. Still everything to play for and I'm confident we'll get top 4.

Thoughts on last nite- Leeds started bright and Varane wasnt enjoying the press. Dalot, just back was lost and in several key areas we simply had players not up to speed, sabitzer eg, or lacking match awareness, dalot, fred, and others just not playing well or out of position- rashford, garnacho even fernandes had mediore game. Some of this happens but all of it happened last nite with leeds pressing high and gatting width, playing as well as any time over 2 seasons tbh. We got back to 2-2 and had chances but only after eth changed up to pellestri and sancho. Never thought we'd miss Cameiro so much but we did especially fred who needs his guile and guidance on the pitch. Last nite exposed the frailies of the squad in terms of class squad depth but we got a point. My concern is a tough tie away Sunday and Newcastle and spurs wins could drop us out of top4 . Given the carabao, fa and 2 legged euopa ties as well as the league fixtures coming thick and fast, could see us losing out on top 4 which is a big carrot to dangle to top players we need. Sqeeky bum time coming soon.

The team is running on fumes. So many games, no squad depth left. Newcastle have a long rest before the final, we have barcelona midweek.

Not complaining, we want to win trophies, but we will really find out about some of these players I the next fee weeks.

Funky and dodgy, I said these same words last week and I was shot to pieces. We needed to get midfield reinforcements in and that didn't include Sabitzer, who is looking woefully short of form and match fitness at present. Also Weghorst is looking exactly what he is, a failed Burnley player.

I’d cut Weghorst some slack, come in and been asked to play every game because our number 9 can’t stay fit .
