I recommend you watch the highlights of United vs Bournemouth. Bournemouth's first goal just after they score and Bruno reaction and complaining directed at Mc. The audacity of him laying the blame at mc is ridiculous.

The second goal shaw floats a nothing pass into a terrible area of the pitch, credit to him he busts a gut to get back but watch reguillion effort rate to get back and by the time he makes an effort he sees their guy already being teed up for that cross and header.

How do you manage guys who switch off mentally and do stupid stuff. all it takes is 3 seconds of stupidity on a football pitch to change a game.

If i am managing this team and you watch the videos, some of these guys need an absolute rollicking. Players makes mistakes but what happens afterwards is unacceptable.

In fernandes case he should just put his hand up and apologize. his reaction after the goal is unacceptable tbh.

He’s simply not captain material and I can see him creating noise to get away next summer. If that’s the case then let him go. His histrionics are now overshadowing his performances which this season haven’t been great.

I think as a leader you need to take responsibility for the good and bad. put your and up to your team mates and bust a guy the net 60 or 70 minutes to make up for it.

I was watching the replay to see if onana or the defenders could do better and i personally don't think and by chance saw bruno's reaction. Disappointed he is really good player has his flaws too but if you are going to captain united you can't be Teflon man.

A point on Fernandes, he is a booking away from suspension for the next game, which just happens to be Liverpool, so what does he do, gets himself booked for dissent? Never a captain for me in a million years, great work rate but the rest of it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. A captain for me should be trying to encourage and not throwing up their hands in displeasure, when someone makes a mistake.

As for Rashford and his form, it will never come back while he is going out on a bender with his pal Lingard and getting in at 3-4am off his face on funny gas!

Agreed with the above, Brunos lack of leadership and accountability is not helping us at the moment.

Also its not really been remarked upon but getting booked for dissent in the 84th minute when he's one booking away from a ban against liverpool does not sit right with me.

At best its just more careless leadership from Bruno or at worst its him shirking responsibility by avoiding an important match which i would not put past him after his behaviour in out last trip to Anfield.

I would strip him of the captaincy.

Bruno is the best choice for captain out of that bunch. There are no other alternatives.

He seems to have a target on his back recently but he'd be far far down the lost of players facing the exit doors.

You’re right mumbles but unfortunately that says more about the squad than it does the merits of Bruno. A captain sets the tone both in training and in matches something that if he does do it then it’s the wrong example they’re following. He’s not top of the list of exits but I’d be surprised if he’s here next August.

Hes a player we should be cashing in on as he actually has resale value.

Even if he's one of the better players in the team, its not necessarily true that we would do worse without him, look at spurs without Kane, they are in practically the same position and they didn't even replace him directly.

Hate to say it but Maguire 'looks' like the captain on the pitch at the moment. Vocal, constantly organising. Not saying he's good enough, and probably shouldn't be trusted with organising a kid's party. But he's one of only a few playing well atm.

Not Bruno hating and he is one of our best players but what I saw was not okay. When people ask where are the leaders on the pitch at united, I am starting to understand it if your captain is a bit of teflon.

I said last season that Bruno was a problem, not Captain material and should be sold. When we signed Mount I asked why, unless it was to replace Bruno. Bruno can do something special every now and then, but gives the ball away poorly too often, fouls, stupid fouls too easily and too often. He is not a captain and I said that months ago. He is another inflated ego on the pitch putting us at a disadvantage with play acting and mouthing at the ref. The ref won’t change a decision because Bruno squeals.
The manager was wrong to make him captain, should have thought about the captaincy in summer when buying and should have looked for leaders. When your leader is squealing in imaginary pain or mouthing off, giving stupid fouls it lessens his impact as a captain. Lead on the pitch with how you play, an example. It’s another decision ETH will have to look at.

How about by actually managing them! Give them the rollockings they deserve, properly! If they cannot be managed don’t reward them with game time, drop them, period! Play the kids and let them play for the shirt and for the honour of being given one permanently.

Not hating on ETH but he is paid to do a job. How about he does it. He is as much to blame as the next man.

Maguire is a captain all day long. Only problem is he’s a liability despite the recent plaudits. I’m glad he’s turned it around but he should still be sold in the summer, with hopefully, a bit of resale value added from his recent upheaval.
