Interesting to see how we line up today.

Andreas dropping back to replace Scott and Mata in at 10?

Or does Ole give garner a run out in favour of keeping the team as much the same as possible?

It’s a tough game to be without 3 of your 4 senior centre mids.

I think we need to play with five at the back today to cover for the lack of midfield quality. 5-2-3 with Rash, Mart and James providing pace up front.

I’d play Garner over Andreas because he provides a better platform.

I'd go 4141 today. Without so many midfielders we will need to change how we set up.

Normal back four (AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Williams)

Fred in the holding role. With James, Andreas Pereira, Lingard Rashford as the four between the holding midfielder and striker, with Martial leading the line.

Either tat or stick to 4231 and play one of Levitt or Garner in McTominay's place. However, that might be a big gamble.

I think Ole might be taking my advice 🤣.

So Jones in for McTominay. Other than that the same as usual.

Good idea to keep changes down to a minimum in terms of personal. But will we see a change in formation.

Is this a 343 with Jones joining Lindelof and Maguire at the back. Fred and Andreas Pereira in midfield and the first choice.

Or is it a 4231 with Jones in midfield.

Jones was playing somewhere alright. commonly known as no mans land.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has ruled out Manchester United target Moussa Dembele leaving the club this summer.

He told RMC: “He will be with us this season. There will be no other departures. "

I've lived in Ukraine for several years and whilst I am not overly surprised by this I'm disappointed they can't even bring themselves to 'keep up appearances' and do the right thing at least on the face of it.

The fact of the matter is that racism is endemic and deeply rooted in eastern European society. It's completely commonplace to see nationalistic flags in the Ultras section at both Dynamo and National team games, the two cultures go hand in hand.

It's by no means isolated just to Ukraine, I've spent time living in Hungary and Poland too and they are just as bad with a dose of violent homophobia thrown into the mix.

I've not witnessed any racism first hand here in Kyiv other a friend of mine being called 'chornyki' (a kind of semi-affectionate term - basically 'blackie') and asked for a photo, but outside of the capital, I wouldn't be at all shocked if things were much worse.

They've a long way to go to catch up with the levels of tolerance and equality seen in Western society.

I'm very happy with the Maguire and AWB deals. Settles our defence down for the first time in years and will allow the midfield to push up the pitch to implement the high press that Ole seems to be looking to play.

Ideally, I'd like us to get another CM but if we end the window like this and we get another year out of Pogba, providing he knuckles down, I think we're in a much better place than this time last year.

Bring on Sunday!
