RossPique posted yesterday regarding Felipe Anderson from Lazio and like most post they seem nonsense ! But Iv just been working at a current Mutv presenters house
and he's just told me we've made a bid for him and were in talks with a CB based in Spain, wouldn't give a name .

So RossPique I salute you

Ps 8 more sleeps

Thanks for the kind words teddybear, from what I'm told I'm fairly convinced he'll go whether that be to us or elsewhere is the question
Just on the cb based in Spain, I have no rumours or anything but my I've got a feeling that it might be Inigo Martinez of Sociedad, although Mr. Moyer may be reluctant to sell to us for one or 2 reasons. We've enquires about him before, even last summer I believe, he's well experienced, is a left footer (as we know van gal is looking for one), has fantastic reading of the game and punches well above his weight in the air although he is not huge, he's been compared to Pujol and I believe he has a release clause, at least he did of somewhere in and around 20m, not sure if that is still there but he hasn't signed a new contract as far as I am aware.
Just a bit of a feeling I have as regards him

i believe its around 21.5 million release fee as liverpool went in for this guy with 14 million and they flat out rejected it

3.) 31 Jul 2015 14:04:50
If we are after inigo Martinez and are successful in signing him, I'd be a happy bunny, very underrated by a lot and would improve our defence immensely!

4.) 31 Jul 2015 16:29:12
I totally agree Ronnie. Very underrated player. I have seen more of him than otamendi so would be my 2nd choice behind Ramos which is getting ever more unlikely by the day.

There is 3 security guards outside the bridgewater Hospital at the moment.
Could mean nothing but could me Rojo is there .

Teddybear

1.) Im pretty sure utd now do medical at the training ground!

2.) 19 Aug 2014 18:58:36
They do, but it wouldn't be August without a security guard outside Bridgewater hospital story!

Mata given the number 8 shirt!

Teddybear

1.) Could be Moyes is saving the number 7 shirt, for an out and out right winger, Lucas Moura maybe? . Or Mata does not want the prestige which goes with iconic number 7. Hopefully 2 more signings this window.

Will we be getting Ed002 back today.
Maybe tell us all straight how inept our club is?

Be nice - I miss her x.

Teddybear

{Ed002's Note - Sorry TB, not worth the grief.}

After watching the Rooney documentary and not being his biggest fan Iv found myself wanting nothing more than for Wazza to find himself again. Imagine an on form Wayne Rooney, I truly hope we get him back

The sad thing is that the documentary really shines a light on his decline in recent seasons. When you look at the speed, directness and belief of his younger years and compare it to Rooney today, it's like two completely different players. Part of it is confidence, but part of it is the inevitable decline of playing for so many years.

Rooney is capable of far more than we have seen so far this season. He is committed, hard working and it's clear why he is a positive influence in the dressing room. But people have to be realistic in their expectations of what Rooney on top form looks like today.

2.) 06 Oct 2015 20:44:34
I said 18 months to 2 years ago, he had past his peak, to which I got slated on here. Nothing in the following 18 months to 2 years has proven what I said then wrong. He started very young, he hasn't had a great lifestyle, professional footballer wise, and he peaked before normal players do. He was a very good player for us in his time, but we are well past his time now, if we want to challenge in the PL and even more so in the CL. People may not like to think it, but it's true and becoming more obvious by the week.

3.) 06 Oct 2015 21:44:33
Brendan you're right and I was one of the ones who disagreed. But I think you're to rally right.

4.) 06 Oct 2015 22:07:06
I think Sir Alex was of the same opinion Brendan.

5.) 06 Oct 2015 22:42:11
And I get no satisfaction from what I said in the last message. I'd love the Rooney we signed back.

6.) 07 Oct 2015 11:16:16
It still changes nothing about his performance to date on the pitch. He is either unfit or truly coming off the boil at an alarming rate. I hope it is the first one because otherwise we have a passenger on the team for the next few years. At this rate and chis current performance he will not score 10 goals this year in the league.

Sometimes Strikers don't score due to missing chances, in his case he does not look like he is even close to scoring. He clearly struggles playing in a crowded space with his touch and an inability to turn defenders so playing at number 10 is the worse position for him and moving him to the wings is not an option either and midfield is a no no for me.

Or maybe the usual complications when it comes to transfers with spanish clubs. You lot love to read stuff into things when most likely nothing is there and your typical last minute stuff that has not met a deadline.

My sincere apologies to Paulo for my mistake of a 36 instead of 39. But we'll picked up. On a slightly less pathetic note we won 4-1 which is absolutely brilliant. Great start.

My point was he covers more than 1 position when he plays. not having that Kante is a dm for 1 minute.

Kante certainly isn't a number 6 though?
Kante never once last year stayed and patrolled DM, he was all over the park. He is a 6/ 7/ 8/ 9. We have more than enough midfielders and Pogba will be the icing on the cake. Looking forward to this season immensely.
