Arsenal fan here. Not here to get a bad reaction from you lot.

Wanted to know what the feeling is around old Trafford, it's obviously not a good time for you, but wanted to know if you think you will bring it back and get top 4?

What do you think moyes needs to do?

Is fergie being at the home games a hindrance?

What do you thing needs to happen in the next few markets?

What I think: 4th isn't out of reach but looks unlikely right now (things can chance awfully quick though.) I think moyes needs a clear out, I've said this before when fergie was in charge and it's become more clear now moyes is at the helm.

SAF being at home games shouldn't matter, but does it? Moyes must be a bit intimidated, but let's not forget he's an extremely experienced manager for his age and united aren't ones to hire and fire like abramovic (although not a massive trophy winner, but was also on limited funds at Everton.)

In the next few markets, not a massive overhaul is needed right away, look at Özil, he's lifted the whole team, that's all it needs sometimes, but over the next few windows I think most of the midfield needs to be changed, left back isn't good enough and the wingers aren't even nearly good enough.

Sorry about the long post, would love to hear you're views and I'm not meaning to p**s anyone off. Think it's always easier looking in from the outside.

Cheers guys, not the best of luck for the season hopefully. (That's the lonely one I meant I swear ;).

1.) Akie, most united fans, especially ones who tend to be a wee bit diplomatic, are still 50-50 about Moyes

Personally I was 60-40 when he first came. But his over reliance on wing play and crossing even though it doesn't seem to work didn't do him much good, and even some pro moyes fans have started to make their concerns clear. I think the majority are willing to give him a fair chance and let him bring his own players before writing him off.

Fergie watching games from the stands has no bearing on the results imo.

As for a top 4 finish, with a fit Rooney, and a fired up Van Persie papering over the cracks, we're certainly capable of gathering some momentum and even finishing top 3 with the right reinforcements ( 2 or 3 decent players )

2.) I find myself agreeing with Mick again this eve, good work sir! Although on the 4th spot - I think we are certainly capable but it will be a struggle bearing in mind we need to catch 3 teams. Fingers crossed from me!

3.) Great minds think alike ;)

4.) I think thirds to much of all tall order now to be honest, unless one breaks down. (Usually us)

5.) A Lot depends on if we sign a LB and a CM this window, I rate Mata and he will create more for us, Mata alone would not get us top 4. Januzaj, Rooney, Mata playing behind RVP is certainly a step up though without reinforcements further back we will still leak too many goals.

Arsenal fan in peace,

wondering what you have thought of the prem so far as a whole, you've not had a good start, but do you think you'll get back on track soon? or do you think this will carry on?

also the January window at the moment looks to be your hope of salvation, so do you think you'll spend big with this talk of £100?

last point, from an outside perspective I think you need a clear out, my list would be (correct me if i'm wrong or you disagree)

lindegaard, buttner, evra, anderson, nani, young, valencia and fletcher.

we did this in the summer with greater numbers, and the positive is, whenever we put a team out we are confident that they can do the job, with a few additions obviously (some german guy.)

not going to lie, its good seeing you struggle, but its horrible seeing liverpool in a good position.

1.) Lol welcome to a real page mate.
Now please tell me these quality additions other than Ozil?
We will be on track soon enough mate dnt u worry. This season will be interesting I must sau

2.) What makes me laugh is how the vast majority of arsenal supporters all of a sudden, after 6 games have gone from wenger out to title candidates, i'm not saying you won't be up battling for 1st spot but at least judge it after more than 6 games. i'd say your list of players to oust is pretty accurate although I still think valencia can do a job for the team.i think in january we will bring in 2 players, a left back and a midfielder.

3.) We'll get back on track yes, by christmas we will be top 4 I have no doubt. I don't think January will be major tbh, I think we may try and get a creative player but that will be it in my eyes. Your list of players is quite accurate but I would add Ferdinand as he will go and it depends on Fletchers latest comeback bid. If it fails this time I don't think he'll carry on.

I would add that you have started well but I think you'll end up 4th, your depth isn't good enough if you get a few injuries. As I have stated previously my prediction this season is City, Chelsea, United, Arsenal/Spurs, Liverpool in that order. Good result for you last night though.

4.) Keep Nani & Fletcher. Rest can go.

5.) Akie

I think Arsenal have started on fire. Playing beautiful football. The kind of swash buckling style that people generally associate with United. So congratulations on that ya! I would much rather want Arsenal to win rather than the dippers/bitters/Chavs.

The only thing you might want to guard against is your form tailing off. The winning mentality and the grit is something that I think Arsenal of recent seasons has lacked.

By the way Oezil has been a brilliant addition. Given you guys a huge lift!

Deeps.

6.) We do need a clear out, that much is true

But Arsenal as always don't have the squad depth to carry them through the season.

A quality signing as Ozil is, he can't carry you through every game

7.) Chris, I never said we signed anyone quality, I just said a few additions, but ozil and flamini have both been fantastic.

I agree with most of you that you won't take long to be back up there, it's half the battle having the quality but knowing how to get up there and win titles is something you can't buy. United have always known how to do it while I've been alive.

8.) Agree with you re the clear outs. Finding replacements at the prices Woodward wants to pay will be more difficult.
Arsenal have been very good to watch and I think they will be there or there about come the end of the season.
I am sure our form will pick up once our manager starts playing with the right team, personnel and tactics.

9.) Akie

Credit where credit is due, love the way you guys play football and Wenger is a top manager. Your list of clear outs is spot except Valencia, I would add Ferdinand to that list.

If it's any consolation RVP transformed our season last year and carried us to the title and maybe Ozil and Ramsey will do the same for you guys this year.

cheers,

Been coming on your site a few times recently wondering what you think is going on at united, from an outsider viewing in, my point of view is that:

We are 6-7 games in calm down, moyes was given a 6 year contract for a reason, they knew it would take time, he has fergie upstairs for advise. (Weather he takes it or not is another story) you have januzaj coming though who seems a top talent. Like I've said on another post, I think a clear out is needed for united but I also think moyes is the right man for the job, he was at Everton, a club that was battling for 5-7 year on year, now at united where 2nd place is frowned upon so it's going to be hard for him and it might not work out for moyes or united. But most of your fellow fans are getting behind him, and like wenger has said for arsenal fans are important, very important.

Just over 30 games left. The title race hasn't even started yet.
