Can we have an informed analysis of the window and why it took the form that it did? Was the net spend a financial target? Was the priority only to deal with the defence? What can be expected to follow in J January 2020?

{Ed002's Note - The amateurs have perhaps learned the lesson via Fernandes that bullying doesn’t work and he will now be considering his other opportunities for this summer. But they have strengthened the defence to keep the toxics happy. They of course screwed up the Pogba and his replacement situation - and of course the coach seems happy enough. Nothing will be planned for January but the club will have to react if the season is not going as planned by the end of the year.}

Just when you think the club has a plan they again revert back to what has failed them so many times before.
What I can't grasp is why are the people above the amateurs not doing something about it?
If you are happy with average Joe's then average results is what your going to get.
I don't think the fans would take to kindly the sacking of ole which I fully expect come the turn of the year.
And again come next summer it will be our 5th re build 😂.

One for the Eds. Why do you think that UK transfer activity is so subdued this window? Numbers of transactions and value are subdued. It would be interesting hear your opinions.
{Ed002's Note - They are not - Maanchester United have already signed a couple of players and are working on a couple of others - in their own amateur and hopeless way. Arsenal have already addred three players and are still working at it. Aston Villa have added 10. etc. etc.. And the window is open.

I've seen people comparing villa's activity with fulhams last summer. But I think Fulham did some really poor business where's I think villa have done some good business.
At the moment my three for the drop is Sheffield United, Norwich and Newcastle.

Sheffield United will be great too watch and may just surprise a few people, I think they could be everyone’s second team next season, don’t be surprised if they stay up.

He was a legend as a player, mostly for one sole goal. In contrast as a manager he is legendary, already, as hapless, naive and destructive force. He has used all of his brand equity, and must go now. Others should too. One of them is Ferguson who has anointed him, and is in part responsible for the cycle of decline that he have spiralled into. This swamp will only be drained if we appoint a sensible manager and support infrastructure, and work out a coherent strategy.
