Is Maguire being played in the wrong position, would he be a better Defensive Midfielder than a Centre Back?

Absolutely not. His poor mobility can be mitigated at CB, in midfield he'd just be a lump the opposition pass around.

Whats this obsession with moving our centre backs into midfield?

Its been suggested on numerous occasions that lindelof and tuanzebe be moved there and now maguire lol.

Ive got a crazy suggestion, how about we sign a midfielder who can defend and also play with the ball at his feet competently. It doesn't have to be either or.

For example the likes of fernandinho and fabinho.

85 million and we made him captain. *head drops*. He is part of the problem. Dithers on the ball and invites pressure with his passes at the back. He also doesn't seem to be able to think quickly to make up for his lack of mobility and pace.
