Will eth risk casimero. If he get a yellow he will miss the arsenal game.
We are not in a great place for rotation with the big drop if in quality.
Personally I hope he plays against Palace. Fred is in the same boat so we may see mctom step up.

I'd err on the side of caution on this one. I think with some of the refereeing and with some of the pace in Palace's team, a booking could be likely.

I think we need Fred to do a job on Odergaard on Sunday so he will be important to the team.

A midfield of McTominay (Unfortunately) Eriksen and Fernandes with Rashford, Weghorst and Antony should be strong enough to beat Palace I would hope.

Definitely rest him for the Arsenal game, have him on the bench if absolutely needed. Palace are not in the best of form so we should have enough even with a McTominy, Erikson, Fernandes midfield.
If we seriously think we are in a title race we need to strip some points from Arsenal.

Strongest team, keep up the momentum and get to the reading game on the 28th and rotate/ rest.

I don't think we can afford to take the palace game lightly, not in the best form as people have mentioned but an away trip there is never easy especially under the lights with that atmosphere.

I might be wrong but I thought Casemiro looked tired in the City game, looked like ETH wanted to get him off earlier than he did. I would look to give him some rest. It is a must win game, they all are, but Palace are athletic and tall, McT should step in for me. Wonder if we are going to play Rashford and that is another risk, unless Wout makes a debut.

Yes, he looked just off to me, wasn’t quite right. We still lack in CM and McT worries me but Cas has to play at weekend, first and foremost. Palace are very physical, quick and pacy, I would be surprised if Martinez doesn’t take some part, even start.

Love Martinez attitude, a real fighter, will need him at Palace. Must not underestimate them, they are difficult at home. Pace and movement, very athletic.

Away to Palace has potential banana skin written all over it.

Good solid team who play well at home. While we are becoming a real scalp again, teams will want to beat us and give that extra 10% effort.

For me we should be look to rotate in the cups as much as possible and keep rotation for league games to a minimum.

Also have they changed the rules? I always thought it was if you collect 5 yellow cards before the halfway point of the season then it was a one game ban.

Tomorrow is the halfway point shappy so if they get booked they will be banned.
I think the rules changed this season.
Cards in cup comps only count in the comp they are recieved also.
