Looking at all the chaos on this site. The bitterness between fans. Bipolar opinions. The rubbish show of the state of our club.
I would like to raise a glass of exquisite, top of the class, gin and mixer of choice for the late gentleman adventurer, the legend who knew more about everything about 'behind the scenes football' than any soul I have ever known.
You are incredibly missed and may your soul be happy in eternal peace and we shall all read the f***ing post in your honour.
I miss you Ed002 xx
All thoughts to those closest that have lost the most. But know that his soul lives on within us all. RIP ?.

He is sorely missed monkeyballs. He is probably somewhere on high revelling at how little we all know about everything that is going on. Hopefully he is with his dog Sharky listening to his eclectic mixture of music. RIP ED002.

Well said, I agree with the comments on the site recently. It’s becoming more like. Facebook fan page. Bickering, childish nonsense and posters taking offence.
I rarely post but dear me it used to be a great read. It’s sadly becoming tiresome reading the negativity that some of our fans post.
Feel sorry for the Ed’s.
Ed002 always put them in their place but it must almost be a full time job yelling deluded United fans to wind it in.

It's the internet, there is no middle ground. Whatever your view or opinion is it gets pushed into one of two categories at the extreme of the polar opposites.
If a new player doesn't immediately hit the ground running and you say give them time then that gets twisted into you having low standards, being delusional, or not understanding football.
Ultimately unhappy people tend to express their opinions far more than contented people. Which is why the internet and social media is best avoided after a loss as the hyperbole really does suggest it's the end of the world.
Unhappy people lash out and it makes it polarising. People are forced to pick sides and we forget that we are all on the SAME side, just with different opinions.
As a club we are going through a tough patch after years of unprecedented success. That was always likely to be difficult for the more emotional fans to handle.
Ed002 was fantastic at cutting though the crap and just telling people how it was. Sarcastic and blunt at times, but always honest.
He is missed from this site for that as much as his excellent knowledge and titbits he'd share that he'd learned through his contacts in football.
It does feel that this first summer transfer window without him that the site is flying blind and in need of that authoritative father figure to knock us down a peg and to get us to settle down.

We have lifelong supporter in here now promoting hating the club but loving the badge. A complete oxymoron and slightly bi polar viewpoint imo.

As much as I appreciate your views, I don't need a break down of life itself. And I know what the Internet manifests out of souls.
Let's for once just pay some respect to the subject of this post and keep it at that.
Ed002 is a massive loss to all who want football knowledge. And also with that being said, I dob my hat to Tris and Ed033 (and all the other Ed's) for putting up with the post Ed002 BS that doesn't get cut to size.
I for one salute you all. Kudos.
