Apparently Osimhen is available for £65m? Spurs bid £55m. I think he is a steal at that price and we should go all out for him. Only issue is his wages of course.

Agree.

He's on a guaranteed salary of EUR15m NET p.a. Plus EUR5m p.a. Image Rights, and EUR1m p.a. Loyalty Bonus.
That would equate to approx £600,000-£700,000 p.w.
There would have to be quite some willingness to take a salary reduction.
If he would do so, then come to O.T.

Quality player and would definitely take him. Unfortunately, I think the opportunity to get him was a few years back. With the purchase price, likely agent costs, and salary, I don't see how he fits into any model the club are currently working to.

If he is serious about ever wanting to play in the Premiership, he would need to slash his wage demands by over 50%.

Am I the only one worried that Liverpool may win Europa and make it into the Champions League? So even if we make it into top 4 we would be out for next season. Bitter pill to swallow, especially given that its Liverpool.

Wait. I read through the posts. Ignore the above.

I am confused how people still don't grasp this! Top 4 is in, it was always a very very unlikely scenario that top 4 would miss out, the press just liked to make a big deal of it.

5 teams from England ( if Liverpool wins the EL ) goes through to the CL next season.

Where would he be going in the summer with Real likely to be banned?

Jeez. I have tried to stay out of getting involved with the Beast bashing but come on. Jesus, Belotti and Vardy? Lukaku has scored over 100 goals in the last 4 years and you are going to compare him to these 3? Why isn't anyone going for Vardy this season? This is a joke. Jesus, maybe talented and potential but not better. surely you are taking the piss here?
I have been following all posts for awhile and now I am almost convinced that you are a Liverpool supporter who comes here to wind us up.

Also we wouldn't be "buying" Ibra. He is a free agent.
To put it simply :
Option 1
Buy a quality mid-20 year old striker, to build a team for the future. Kane, lukaku or aubemeyang or greizman. They will be expensive and only Lukaku doesn't have champions league next year. The others do. Their presence will limit Rashford's chances to play as a striker next year.
Option 2
Get Ibra for free. High wages, and old, but still free. Still a good player, 50 goals this past season is nothing to sneeze at. I think he can still bang them in for us and get ua back into the top 4.
Option 3
Find a new unknown striker "There are loads of players out there pal not just the big names. " Unfortunately us big boys hardly experiment and take chances with unknowns. Martial was not unknown, ask Ronnie and Wenger. that's why his price was so high.
Ibra is free and you know what you are getting.
