Rumours backed by a photo are circulating that after being ill for the Bayern game, Rashford was partying in London with Sancho. Rumours also of a £180m bid for Rashford from Saudi.

Sell or keep? Sell Rashford for me.

Pretty sure the photos aren't from when they are suggesting they are.

Regardless, Rashford is a player who splits opinion. On form he is our best player. He's a Mancunian, an academy lad and everything the club should stand for.

The only real issue seems to be his form is streaky. Although there does seem to be some people who took a dislike to him for his work making sure poor kids didn't starve, yet if you hold that against him then it says a lot more about you as a person than him.

His form is a problem only when you are reliant on him to be your major source of goals.

If we had a 30 goal a season striker, and a 20 goal a season right winger then it really wouldn't make a huge difference whether Rashford had a 15 goal season or a 30 goal season.

I'd also imagine his form would be a lot less streaky when he's playing in a team with quality players around him. The opposition wouldn't be able to double up on him like they do currently. Which would give him more time and space on the ball. Also you'd imagine the quality of chances he'd be presented with would increase with better players. Both factors leading to Rashford having more chances to score, and chances of a higher quality. Which would probably lead to him scoring more consistently.

The problem isn't that Rashford isn't good enough, it's that he is in a team that isn't good enough.

All that said, if someone came in with 180m then I think the club would have to sell him. With Garnacho coming through on the left, then the bulk of that money could be used to rebuild the rest of the side. If that did happen hopefully we'd be successful in spending that money like Liverpool were when selling Coutinho to fund players like Alisson and VvD, rather than when Spurs spunked the Bale money up against the wall, buying mostly flops.

Sad gullible fools actually believe this sort of garbage.
But a lot of our own fans look for the poison and believe it when it suits them and revel in it. Very sad.

Shappy - he does split opinion but would argue that he is our best player on form, as he is never on form for long enough periods: it doesn't matter if he is a mancunian either, best, law, charlton, rooney, cantona and so on!
his problem is workrate and application -he wants left wing but won't cross/ pass tries to beat the same man twice and loses the ball - then walks back or if his teamates are lucky, slowly trots. He has got ability but doesn't seem happy to put in the work to let it shine.
Agree there are plenty around him the same but despite having less ability/ skill levels albeit in a different area of the pitch he could learn a lot about applying his skillset from maguire. There is obviously uncertainty throughout the club and that is from the top to the playing side but he is 26 a senior pro and international player who should be doing better by far.
there are others to be sold before him but if, if the offers came in at the figures mooted the club should accept. ps very much doubt it though.

Would take £18m for Rashford currently.

Heard a rumour wednesday evening before the newcastle match that they are seriously interested in rashford: this was off a mag with a box at st james - wouldn't think so though?

I’d take 18p at this moment in time.

Hard for people to accept, but isn’t good enough despite how much people want him to be. Sell at the going rate, but definitely sell.

Wow Shappy, he was never our best player, and even when he does score, he still is too selfish, slow to pass, doesn't defend and what not, but he covers it with goals. I remember watching a game few years ago, where he repeatedly destroys our attacks by not passing or not passing on time. Few years later it is all the same.

I don't believe anyone would offer that kind of money for him, but i'd sell him for 1/ 3 of that.

He is 26 now, on a rumoured £300k a year and stopped scoring regularly in February, sounds like a United player to me, why would we sell.

He wasn’t. The account that posted it admitted that it was fake.

Let's just hate on rash even if its bs. gives some here reason to vent lol.

His ex girlfriend is in the pictures I saw so clearly not from the other night, people will believe anything.

GDS

I am no social media expert but I did read in the papers a couple of weeks ago that he was back with said girlfriend, hired a restaurant for a meal. True or fake picture, I would still sell him. Anyone who doesn’t give 100% for that shirt deliberately needs selling.

I wouldn't be surprised by anything at all from Saudi. Maybe if Liverpool knock back the Salah approach again Rash will be the next target, who knows.
I'm more surprised (or maybe I shouldn't be by now) that people have an interest in what players do with their free time, let alone when they're from 6 months ago.

Yes Rashford is back with his former finance.

He also continues to be a little pleb off the pitch.

Oh that’s good news, hopefully he will settle back down now then, always better when players have sorted out their personal lives.

No idea what's going on with rashford but always comes across as a lovely fella who did the business last year.

He more than deserves a chance to put it right. No one knows what's going on with him.
