Interesting quote from Frenkie being banded about. He apparently said he didn't think he would join United in the Summer but 'you never know' before saying he was happy at Barcelona.

Would be an amazing signing but clearly happy where he is.
Hope we strengthen midfield tho. Really like the look of Gravenberch, Barella, Rice, Cacqueret, Nunes or Zubimendi as alternatives which could strengthen our midfield. Hope there’s interest!
(Talk today if McTominay to Newcastle so, if he goes as well as Van Der Beek, definitely need a midfielder)

Would be the ideal midfield signing for EtH, however I think we will understand quite early in the window whether there is a possibility of this one. If we have new owners we may go in with a strong early bid, take it or leave it and move on if not.
We have a lot of business to do with a striker (maybe 2) and potentially a CB (if Maguire/ Lindeloff move on as hoped) . We cannot be dragging our heals as we did last year.
A summer of Oshimen, FdJ and Min-Jae would really set the team up for next year!

Player wanted to stay and had no interest in moving to Manchester United. Again, this summer Barcelona will be open to an significant offer and ten Hag would certainly be open to taking the player but the player has no interest in a move. Huge wages.}

I’d absolutely jump at another summer like the last, Casemiro and Martinez have been 2 of our best signings in the last 10 years, another summer like that and we will make another step up next season. Ignore all the noise in the background, don’t read twitter etc and just wait until September and see who we’ve got and it makes your summer a lot less stressful I find.

JP, that depends on what we are looking for. Do we want a physical box to box player who'll move about and put out fires, and drive the play forward with the ball at their feet. Or do we want a tempo setter, someone who'll drop into pockets of space to receive the ball then move it on quickly and accurately to keep the ball moving.

If Kane leaves I would expect him to stay in England as he is only 60 goals behind Shearer’s Premier League record. United could be his only serious option as Liverpool and City have just bough strikers and I doubt he would go to Chelsea.

If someone bids an acceptable amount for the Glazers I’m sure they will sell, what that actual figure would be only they know. If they don’t get what they deem as acceptable then they won’t sell up and look to investment I presume.
