Disappointed with the result but saw enough to feel encouraged. Unfortunately City are on top and we're rebuilding.
Classless by Sterling at the end - and enough said when Mata is the one pointing it out - but Sterling will always be just that.
Well played City, that's the new bar, same as before and same as will always be. New team hits its peak and the rest need to respond.
Onwards and upwards.
Jose is our guy and I back him 100%.

1.) 11 Nov 2018 18:47:08
You saw enough? One shot on target and it was a penalty. Ludicrous to think that performance was anywhere near acceptable for Manchester Utd.

2.) 11 Nov 2018 18:49:03
Encouraging are you having a laugh. Gutless spineless. didn't really expect anything else.

3.) 11 Nov 2018 18:53:35
Well both replies say everything. City are head and shoulders above the rest. They dominate almost everyone. It's the cyclical nature of the game. Face up to reality and where we are, and we start again.
Not gutless, not spineless, ludicrous to be acceptable for Man United. sometimes the arrogance on here is unbelievable.

4.) 11 Nov 2018 18:54:59
What sterling did annoyed me but think back to when utd were in citys position, i remember nani and ronaldo both doing the same, i'm more bothered about the massive gap between the teams, its pretty sad when i go into a game expecting to lose.

5.) 11 Nov 2018 19:03:54
I saw enough to be discouraged.

6.) 11 Nov 2018 19:09:03
What annoys me scotbos is fans like you accepting dross. Been going since the early 80’s so knew about failure before success but at least our teams back then showed heart desire and passion. Lingard and Rashford are more bothered about silly dances and Instagram than actually showing some heart. Ship both of them out never good enough for utd.

7.) 11 Nov 2018 19:20:23
Fans like me? Wow, says it all. The unbridled arrogance of the blinkered fan. We have a bad result and all your toys are out your cot.
Last season - behind City - we were best team in the league, and 19, nineteen points off the pace. That's the gulf we and the rest have to bridge.
And by the way City are better this year than last.
But that's the kind of fan I am.

8.) 11 Nov 2018 19:29:12
You really can’t be serious. One bad result oh please. Get your head from out of the clouds. We’ve become a laughing stock and your telling me you were encouraged by that dross.

9.) 11 Nov 2018 19:31:51
A bad result. What about west ham, Brighton, spurs, drew with wolves.

10.) 11 Nov 2018 19:37:22
It's not about the result though is it? It's about the mind-numbingly, boring football we get served week in and week out. We play with 10 men behind the ball and it's only when we go down that we start to attack

It's not spoilt or arrogant to want to be entertained watching sport is it?

11.) 11 Nov 2018 19:37:31
Blackpool Red,

"We have a bad result" - does not read "one bad result". City are way way ahead of the rest. Think about that 19 point gap and ask yourself how we make that up.
Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal and not going to stop this City team either, so how we now respond is the challenge. Bitching and moaning I guess is your style of fan. that's what actually makes the club a laughing stock.
I'm off to watch the Pats and the Titans here in Sunny Boston.
I'll let you have the last word :)

12.) 11 Nov 2018 19:38:33
Pathetic and gutless. We were never it. I didn't see anything encouraging. Lukaku is a donkey, Martial didn't get interested and Rashford has pace but little control. City were planets away from us all over the pitch. We have a long journey in front of us.

13.) 11 Nov 2018 19:49:55
Scotsbos I get behind the team whoever pulls on the shirt even if I think their utter dog turd. I’ve spent 10’s of thousands watching utd all over the world. All most fans want is passion and desire and wanting to die for the shirt. Not too much to ask for is it.

14.) 11 Nov 2018 20:23:46
It's really difficult to see and watch supporters get used to mediocrity. This is how we fall and be the new Arsenal or Liverpool because we justify everything by stating that the next year will be our year.

15.) 11 Nov 2018 20:26:25
Taxi for Jose.

16.) 11 Nov 2018 21:00:02
In the first 12 minutes before city scored we had 11 passes 5 were successful. I mean we are the biggest in world football, we should have everything thing in place, the fans are called toxic give me a break, how do we get de gea to sign a new contract looking at the 4 average defenders in front of him, how do we attract the best players playing that crap, changes are needed all over the shop, and the worst part is it will take a lot of time, no quick fix here.

17.) 11 Nov 2018 21:04:42
It isn't arrogant to expect players and the management to give a leg in a derby match. Didn't expect a win but expected something a lot less timid than that horrible display.

18.) 11 Nov 2018 21:07:03
Sometimes I wonder if the Ed's plant wind-up posts such as the OP as it’s hard to believe any sane football loving United fan could find any silver lining to this ugly juggernaut of a cloud! Today was dire. No passion. No tactics. No leader. No pressing. No shots. No marking. No passing. No chance of top four. No more Jose please.

The performance today mirrored the Juventus game. The only difference being the absence of any luck. No free kick on the edge of the area, no poor finishing by the opposition and no own goal to seal a fortunate victory. Found out. If we can’t rely on occasional individual brilliance or opposition errors we are screwed.

So upsetting to see Sir Alex looking down on this.

{Ed033's Note - The Eds don't need to "plant wind-up posts".

Also, I think the Ed's plant is not capable of typing and submitting a post and if the Eds did have a plant it would be a Rick Simpson THC plant :)

19.) 11 Nov 2018 21:47:14
Ed, on a side note The Simpson oil is supposed to be a life saver in some cases ed but that is why the governments don't want us to use it.

{Ed033's Note - Yeah they don't mind CBD oil, which is no comparison.

I think the problem is not just our own current standard, but the standard of the EPL in general compared to the top CL teams.

Leicester winning the league last seasoned summed it up but it got lost in people talking about a fairytale win. never mind that Chelsea, Arsenal, City and ourselves have dropped way off.

Look at this years how EPL teams have performed in the CL the past few seasons. Bayern coasting past Arsenal this year says it all.

Roy Keane summed it up. "who have we beat"

10 draws this season against average opposition is not moving in the right direction.

I've said it before and it's still the same. We are not good enough to win the league, and even if we do the step up to competing against Barca, Real, Bayern and the emerging PSG is vast.

We are better than the past few seasons, but our standards and what is being accepted on here, have dropped alarmingly.

We won a cup but my eyes said we played off the park by Southampton and were very very lucky to win.

So what if we fail to qualify for CL next year. will the penny drop?

I fully support the team, but enough of the we're getting better. maybe if we buy Kroos, Varane and Griezmann. but that's the level of player it will take.

The optimist in me says, Liverpool and Arsenal will miss out. but we're still way short of where we need to be. otherwise we very soon become like Liverpool, maybe next year.

Just one supporters opinion.

Scotbos01

1.) 05 Mar 2017 22:05:04
Will the penny drop? The thing is nobody on here is saying we're good enough to win the league or compete in Europe. It's plainly obvious we're not good enough to win the league. But progress is being made. Do you think Jose can't see where things need improving in the summer? Do you think he thinks we're ready to win the league or challenge Madrid or Barca?

The problem is here too many failed to realise just how far we fell in 3 years under Moyes and LVG, and how much work is needed to get back to the top! Jose has been with us for 6 months, yet people are complaining that we're not good enough to win the league. 6 months. Seriously a lot of you need to get some perspective and have some patience. We are improving, there no doubt about that.

2.) 05 Mar 2017 22:21:31
Thank you stand for that post I agree with it all. This site is toxic at the moment with people with a lack of patience and perspective. Van gaal and moyes destroyed us and set us back about five years in my opinion. Jose has come in and has only had 8 months to work at it. Yes he has spent money but it is more than that. The mentality in the club has been wrong and rotten in my opinion. Jose has tried to fix that and that doesn't happen over night. We could win the Europa league this year and get champions league football and certain people on this site will still criticise. People criticise the players for the lack of loyalty and money grabbing but impatient fans who demand instant success are just as bad as the players. Listening to the comments on this site the past couple of days you would have thought we were in a relegation scrap. Let's assess at the end of the season and go from there.

3.) 05 Mar 2017 22:33:33
Il second that stand. Well said.

4.) 05 Mar 2017 22:34:48
Stand

Too many do not realise that the fall started under SAF when he didn't buy suitable players, probably as far back as when Ronaldo left. Some on here don't appreciate the damage of appointing Moyes and then bringing in LVG without realising it would change our playing style. The transition plan was shocking given the time the club had to plan it. We witnessed disorganised chaos and a disjointed plan in the transfer market.

The idea that it just needs the flick of a switch to get everything working is naive at best.

5.) 05 Mar 2017 22:44:45
Well put guys, remember Rome didn't get build in a day, this is going to take time, patience and loyalty from the fans.

6.) 05 Mar 2017 23:45:56
Red man, couldn't agree more. The last few years under Fergie were poor, we won the league purely down the Van Perdue that last season. The squad had been neglected for a good couple of years. As you say, from Ronald I leaving onwards. Jose has to undo 4 or 5 years of dross in all honesty. It's going to take time and I'm happy to give it.

{Ed004's Note - I think the key difference we are seeing this season is blatant improvement. We struggled to get one shot on target a game with Van Gaal at times. Nowadays we are complaining we only scored once after 33 shots (Burnley). One last point how many players that we signed last summer are still in this team? Our transfer record has been appalling the last few seasons and Mourinho has to start from scratch and get a tonne of players off the books who aren't good enough. Atleast his signings have all had impacts (positive imo) this season and will all be key players next season (maybe Ibra less so due to age)}

7.) 06 Mar 2017 02:30:51
Great points, gents. It will probably take another three transfer windows to truly get us back to the top as long as there is a plan in place and the club fully back the manager, as he is clearly doing a very good job under the circumstances that have been mentioned, namely the lack of investment when it truly mattered back when we were at the top. We are now playing catch-up, which has been made worse by the previous managers. Now, we have a top manager who clearly has a plan, and is in the process of executing it.

8.) 06 Mar 2017 03:18:23
Stand you are right when you say no one expects man utd to win the pl this season, how many people had us finishing outside top 4. I agree with redman and ed004 there is clear improvement to see in our football but what is the end result it still will be outside top 4 finish and no cl unless we win europa, i don't think we should sack mourinho even if we don't get cl, but will it be a great improvement as people suggest it has been if that happens.

9.) 06 Mar 2017 07:12:01
Toxic? I think it has been much better lately. People still point out what they see as issues but generally it feels optimistic for the future.

10.) 06 Mar 2017 07:55:33
The site has been miles better, the over reaction is nuts we played well saturday . Never won won, should off it happens, move on
. ibra puts a chance or a pen away and we would be great, he never and its all " the rot started under fergy "

11.) 06 Mar 2017 08:18:06
Well said stand and redman.

12.) 06 Mar 2017 09:18:24
Red Man, although not your first choice, I seem to remember you giving your support to LVG's appointment, mainly because he wasn't Moyes, and lecturing those of us who had our doubts, to get behind him. That was before your road to Damascus conversion, when you woke up one morning and led a rallying cry to get rid of him. Now you're claiming his appointment was damaging. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

13.) 06 Mar 2017 13:04:39
Nou

You will remember that after Moyes I campaigned for Klopp. Lvg was not my choice but if you recall I said that appointing him would necessitate a change of playing style which would be a long term option, define a new identity in our playing style. I supported the move forward from Moyes but only changed on lvg when it became obvious it would not work.

14.) 06 Mar 2017 16:09:36
RedMan - Things become obvious to people quicker than others.

To me it has become obvious that the speed of improvement is not as quick as required. Despite Jose doing better than LVG it is still not as good as required. Chelsea, City and Spurs are getting stronger. We play well one game then poor the next few. Give any half decent manager 3 windows and £350m to spend and they would have us playing better.

Jose should have this bunch playing better more regularly than they are FACT.

15.) 06 Mar 2017 18:19:26
To be fair we are a few players short yet. Martial and Rashford are kids and half the team is in its twilight. We'll look much stronger after the summer and the following summer I expect us to be back up with Bayern and Barcelona et al. Could really do with champs league though.

29 Oct 2016 19:52:55
Feels like the season is already slipping away with respect to the league - it just feels like, as with the past few seasons - we are peripheral and not in contention.

As always it feels the tempo is too slow, not enough urgency. Pretty much same as past few seasons. and please don't give me it was Heaton playing a blinder, he was very good, but it was at home and Burnley are Championship standard. Very poor result. Winners win these games.

A lot of areas where it felt we were progressing have stalled. Defence looks suspect - the Chelsea game (and I don't think Chelsea will challenge) summed it up - lacks a leader with a brain.

Up front, it's either an old warhorse in Zlatan or young pacey inexperienced options, with Rooney a shadow of himself.

Midfield - Pogba, please show the f**k up.
Felaini - please sell him, same with Depay. Still no Carrick?
Mata our best player today subbed off?

Just don't see any possibility in the league and CL will be tough.

It is what it is, we are just not good enough.

Scotbos01

1.) 29 Oct 2016 20:06:41
We should have won, but if you think pogba didn't show up today you're wrong. He ran, he passed long, he passed short, he created chances, his link up play was excellent, he even tackled well.
I think you've just seen the result and based everything on that.

2.) 29 Oct 2016 20:14:46
No I watched it, so please enough being a patronising best game Pogba has played I'd say, but still miles short of what I expect from a top tier midfielder. We spent 90million on him so I judge him on that expectation, if you don't then why exactly did we buy him?

3.) 29 Oct 2016 20:28:35
Sorry to come off as patronizing. I wasn't trying to be. But you are simply wrong. Really, our midfield trio was excellent to say the least. Mata, hererra and pogba were the reason we were so dominant. If anything our front three were poor, all for different reasons.

The truth is if we'd put 5 past them, we'd be hear talking about how great everyone was. Poor pogba, The guy just can't win. He literally did everything today. If someone like artuto vidal put on such a show, everybody put be raving on about him.

4.) 29 Oct 2016 20:56:53
See that's the problem. The fee I don't care about, but the club obviously felt he was a game changer type player to justify the fee. He is not performing like a game changing midfielder.
We are no better, relatively speaking than the past few seasons, and now on our 3rd manager.
The tempo, the urgency and the will to win is sorely lacking.
No disrespect to Burnley, but they are a Championship team full of Championship (at best) players. It wasn't Man City, Barca, Bayern. Marney, Mee. so we need to be honest about what os wrong before we can fix it. Mata, Herrera and Pogba should look good against this level of opposition.
If it was a one off performance, fine, it's football, and on any given day. but this has been the norm since SAF left and the winners at the club moved on / retired.
This team are not contenders, and that is what is hard to accept, otherwise, you become Liverpool.

5.) 29 Oct 2016 23:12:15
Pogba was fantastic today. Easily his best performance.

6.) 30 Oct 2016 01:48:07
Pogba was fantastic by the standards he has set himself since re-signing. On any other yard stick he was simply average, against a very poor Burnley side.

7.) 30 Oct 2016 02:06:33
Also these are pogba's stats for today
90 minutes played
- 6 chances created
- 4 take ons
- 6 ball recoveries
- 6 shots
- 86/ 97 passes completed

If that isn't good enough then you have some ridiculously high standards which no player is going to meet.

8.) 30 Oct 2016 01:43:44
Scotbos but that is bs, if yesterday was like how it has been since fergie left then you haven't watched the 3 seasons or this season, we created chance after chance but couldn't score. We had 37 shots highest since some 2004 game, we hit the post twice and their keeper turned into a monster, so i have no clue where you seem to be getting your opinion from and that is true for most of our games, we have missed big chances every game, barring watford and Chelsea we have played decent football. We deserved a point against city, should have won against stoke and burnley all cases zlatan let us down.

Now onto pogba, people have this wierd notion about him, he isn't scholes or gerrard or someone who will take control of the game and dictate the game, he is some one who will always be in and out of the game but will come up with moments of brilliance he did that yesterday, created 3-4 chances not his fault strikers couldn't finish.

10 Jul 2016 20:38:55
I keep watching Pogba, hoping to see what so many on here are raving about - and I qualify it by recognising that a lot of top players have not played to the expected standard in the Euros.
That said, for a 100m how can a player be so annoymous? Regardless of the new norm in transfer values, top dollar should mean world class, game changing ability - Messi, Ronaldo (at his peak), Zidane. not someone who might be world class.
I watched the Copa America where Vidal and Sanchez were amazing - 2 players you could probably get for the same money as we are reported to be planning to spend on Pogba.
Pogba MAY (and there is no guarantee) may become an amazing player - but he certainly isn't at the level yet.
I'd rather buy Kroos and Varane and give Madrid the money to over pay for Pogba.
I'd even say I agree with 'Arry who said he'd take Delli Ali over Pogba.
If we sign him then hopefully he delivers - but I've seen nothing to support the hype.

Scotbos01

1.) 10 Jul 2016 21:05:34
He is a good player could turn out to be great but i don't get the hype .
He plays at this level with juve most times i watch him.

2.) 10 Jul 2016 21:05:44
Just thought I would come on here and see if anybody had mentioned pogba after watching him for 45 minutes tonight, and this is the first post.

I was expecting somebody to say why aren't we signing sissoko though I'll be honest. Judging people on international performances is just pointless. We all know how bad Nani is but he's actually looked OK in this tournament.

3.) 10 Jul 2016 21:27:59
GDS, I qualified my statement with respect to the Euros - Pogba is just not as good as the hype suggests and at 100m it's a joke - he should be a major influence on any game on any stage at that price.
His agent got him the move to Juve and too many are crying at what potential we let leave, but 100m for this level of performance? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
A lot of options that I'd take over Pogba. I'd Madrid have him.

4.) 10 Jul 2016 21:33:30
We could be getting one of the best prospects in the game. Ignore the fees because that's the way money is in football now. In 10 years, it could cost 100 million to buy someone at the level of Andy Carrol. There's nothing we can do about it now. A bit like how a pint of lager cost 50p years ago. The fee is just a good way of putting him down when he doesn't get a hattrick every game.

5.) 10 Jul 2016 21:36:07
Always rated Pogba and Carvalho either one would be an upgrade 😆😆.

6.) 10 Jul 2016 21:56:41
Again you can't base judgement of a player on one game. But everyone keeps saying Pogba is the man with the ability to add energy to our midfield, someone to pick the ball up and run at teams when they sit deep.

Portugal have done exactly that, and Pogba is being outshined by Moussa Sissoko.

Personally the more I see of Renato Sanches the more I feel we missed the boat.

7.) 10 Jul 2016 21:57:16
Mufc
Forget the money.
Is he a world beater is he a great player?
I think he will be in the years to come but he might not .

A french barkley.

8.) 10 Jul 2016 21:57:30
Look at it another way - 100m should mean an exceptional player, top 1-3 in the world.
So why are Chelsea (Conte must know him inside out / Billionaire backer), Man City (most on here were salivating hoping he'd replace LVG) and Madrid (easily sell a couple of players, Morata, James, Kroos to name a few to fund the deal) .
Why are they not all clamouring for this exceptional talent?
Bayern bought Vidal - better than Pogba - while we dithered - now they've added real potential in Renato Sanches.
I'll say it again - and yes the fee DOES matter - why not add another 20m on top every time United come to call - Pogba is NOT worth 100m and is VERY over rated.

9.) 10 Jul 2016 22:04:23
Pogba's agent might be the greatest marketeer in history, never have I seen a player so over hyped. Wait, Rooney, maybe Rooney but he's still only 2nd.

10.) 10 Jul 2016 22:06:28
He's playing cdm, obviously been told to just sit in front of the back four all game and since Portugal have offered nothing in attack he's had nothing to do. Him not getting forwards and getting involved isn't out of choice it's his role for this match.
He's put in a few very good tackles, and made a few good passes, not really put a foot wrong.

11.) 10 Jul 2016 22:17:53
Would say assisting goals is a major influence which he done against Germany for the second, he scored and assisted in the quarters as well against Iceland?

12.) 10 Jul 2016 22:20:43
If they could afford him, I'm sure most would be in for him. Doesn't matter who has billionaire backers, there is fffp to comply with. And a French Ross Barkley? Seriously? That's a bit silly. You tell me would you put him in city's team, arsenals, Chelsea's, barca's, psg's, real Madrid's? Because I'd put him in every one of them. Only team I probably wouldn't at the minute is Bayer Munich.

13.) 10 Jul 2016 22:48:02
Surely a player is worth whatever a club is willing to pay for him?

14.) 10 Jul 2016 22:51:38
Bayern don't need him because they have a better player in Vidal and just as much potential for half the price in Renato.
That's how you do business - not over pay for over hyped players - Madrid could easily buy him, same for Chelsea and City - if he was so good and genuinely worth 100m - do you think they wouldn't - get real.
Let's say it was a player really worth 100m, like Messi, they'd all stand by and let United have him unopposed? No they'd do everything they could to make it happen.
Funny how no else is willing to pay 100m - oh yeah, but let's forget about the fee - might as well stick our fingers in our ears and say can't hear you.
I tell you now we pay 100m we're mugs and every supporter at every ground will make that point with every under whelming performance. no pressure on the lad then.
$50m at todays value - not worth anymore.

15.) 10 Jul 2016 23:21:16
Good post theme. Pogba would get into into nearly every club team in the world.
The money reported is way over the top imo but I still want him in our team.
He is a very different player to any other record transfer fee such as bale or Ronaldo. He is not going to win as many games as they do with flashes if brilliance he won't score 20 goals a season but imo he will be the driving force of our team for the next few years just like the likes of Robson and Keane were before him.
If and I agree its still a big IF he does go on to be like them then it's money well spent.
Both Robson and Keane were record fees at the time and both were bought on their potential both fulfilled it to the max at our club I'm willing to believe pogba will do the same.
He has bi g shoes to fill but imo that's what we are buying the next potential midfield driving force.
Yes the fee is crazy but if he turns out as good as either of those two and that's what he had to do imo then he will have justified his price tag.
That's the challenge he has and i think he is up to it.
Some have come and lived up to their hype. Rooney rvn Rio Keane robso all at record fees.
Some have failed adm veron barthez.
I'm backing pogba to be in with the elite group of successes. Over the next 3 to 4 years he has to be driving us to titles and drag the team through tough matches I am sure he had the right character and will match up to those that have fine before him.

16.) 11 Jul 2016 00:01:20
He will move again for the next contract, so we won't have him more than 5years and will lose him on a free.

17.) 11 Jul 2016 00:35:53
He will have a5 year contract do won't lose him on a free. if he doesn't sign a new contact after 3 years as he did with juve he well be sold for big money. But if we are winning leagues and a cl he will sign a new contact. he is ahuge earner niw si as we will see not many other can imorove or even afford his money so a move will be more difficult to engineer than you might think. Unless he wants to take a pay cut.

18.) 11 Jul 2016 06:02:13
Rooney really can't win can he? Even when it comes to being overhyped he only comes second?
On to pogba why bash the boy? He doesn't set the fees bash the board his agent Juve for setting such a price. Bash enron, Merrill Lynch the freaking illuminati or the new world order but pogba is just a footballer a good one that I would love to see playing for United.
Will he improve us immensely? No question about that. If we have the cash let's pay a lot of it will get offset by outgoings and potato chips sales in Asia anyway. Que the disagrees.

19.) 11 Jul 2016 09:28:46
theyalwayscore,

People just like to moan mate, if we weren't spending the money they would be moaning about the Glazers, now we are on players who will improve us they moan about that too.

Don't see the sense in the OGS appointment at all. The wrong guy has gone. Pogba AND Woodward should both have gone before Jose.

If these players wouldn't perform before why suddenly do we think they will now? There is no logic to that.

Pogba is all wrong for United and needs to be gone.

OGS is simply a popular ex-player, a fan favourite, a nice guy. what has he done as a manager at this level. for a club that prides itself on being one of the top 1-2 clubs in the world how can this appointment make sense? In no other line of work would this ever happen, NOWHERE!

All this does is give the club an excuse not to spend in January on what we need. because we don't have the right guy in place for the long term. terrible forward planning yet again, as we stumble from one poor decision to the next.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. same leadership presided over Moyes, LVG, Jose, OGS and now they will suddenly right the ship long term?

I truly hope they make the right appointments for next season. but that's my heart talking because I love watching Manchester United. but my head says this could be a long painful road.

Flying into Manchester from Boston tonight to be home with family in York and Glasgow. not been back in Glasgow for 15 years!

Best for the holidays to all.

If I was Mourinho, I'd be determined to land another top job - Real or PSG springs to mind - win the CL with them and say a big thumbs down to you, to everyone at United and in the media. can't think of a stronger motivation!

A Manchester United fans perspective.

Congratulations Liverpool on your win. You were the better team and we have take it on the chin. So as I say well done.

What gets under my skin though is the piling on and the gloating. and yet despite all the turmoil and disharmony at United. again read the piling on and gloating across every media outlet. in the years since SAF left and the huge void created. the honors continue to be added in the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League. and yes I know'll scream these count for nothing. Liverpool continue to be the almost team. this year. next year. the year after. Klopp has still won nothing, nada, zip. what if you miss out this year. again. wouldn't that be so ironic. closing in on 30 years. but not gloating just facts. what if, whilst the biggest team in the league is on "pause" you still can't get it done? . as they say that's the problem with gloating. you really better win it all.

Tick tock.

{Ed002's Note - You are missing the point - Liverpool are coming out of a lengthy period where they have struggled and suffered gloating from the fans of other sides - it is their opportunity to gloat now. And across social media I have no dount they will take that opportunity. The Liverpool fans have had to learn to be humble (they are not very good at that) and now it is the turn of the Manchester United fans to do the same. The Liverpool fans are masters of the stupid and embarrassing post - looks like you want to give them a run for their money.}
