Names are coming out left right and centre. just read on red glory app that we have submitted a bid for ajax goalkeeper Onana. Don't no if it's true just thought I would pass it on.

Believable1 14Unbelievable

20 May 2019 21:02:20
I take it nobody wants to sign him then lol just a rumour what I read.

Any truth about ESPN rumours for 19year old Kai Havertz?

He is going to be some player from what little I have seen.

Believable2 0Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - Not if it says Manchester United has made an approach.}

18 May 2019 18:19:23
I've watched quite a bit of him in the Bundesliga this season. I believe he's only 19. Such a classy attacking midfield player and Leverkusen's top scorer. He scored again today! Such a good league to watch with a lot of goals.

Ed I was wondering if you could provide an update on our alleged interest in De Ligt? Mixed reports with some saying he would take a Champions League hit for a season to become the face of our rebuild.

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed004's Note - I would be disappointed if we were not interested but I think he is Barcelona bound}

18 May 2019 09:24:21
Ed, Is he that good? If we were going for a young defender, don't you think Milenkovic, Dias or Skrinar would be best? .

Agree1 1Disagree

{Ed004's Note - I dont think Skriniar is good enough on the ball for what he would cost. Milenkovic seems a good and realistic target. I havent seen enough of Ruben Dias but I worry that from what ive seen hes more suited to right cb which is where Lindelof (especially), Smalling and Bailly prefer playing. Ideally we would sign one of De Ligt, Koulibaly or Romanagli but that will be hard to accomplish}

18 May 2019 10:50:59
Koulibaly will be the one for me and i think he would have the same type of effect as Van Dijk. I think De ligt will be more suited to City or Barcelona and i don't know much about Romanagli.

Agree0 0Disagree

18 May 2019 11:07:36
Both Koulibailly and Romagnoli are on my list of players I hope we sign this year.

Agree0 0Disagree

18 May 2019 12:22:13
Giggsy they would be my two choices as well, both would add steel to our defence. KK is said to be happy where he is though.

19 May 2019 10:43:34
I’d love to have De Ligt he’s unbelievable. I watched one of their games when I went to Amsterdam and Ajax were so comfortable with him at the back they all went forward and he stayed back on his own. He drills players when needed and if anyone saw they’re celebration just look at his speech. The kid for me is the full package and I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Agree3 0Disagree

20 May 2019 09:25:44
Agreed Gazza. He has all the attributes to be the first choice CB for the next 10 years. The only negative is his agent being Raiola.

Hi Ed's seems to be a new player linked to us every day as silly season approaches. Any truth in today's reports that United have approached Fulham over Sessegnon? He fits the profile of the other two players we've been strongly linked with.

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United have asked about a price but are aware of serious interest from elsewhere.}

17 May 2019 20:07:24
Itd be interesting if wed be happy to meet their asking price. Spurs would also be a good option for him.

Agree1 0Disagree

17 May 2019 20:09:21
Thanks once again Ed. I think I’ve seen you say elsewhere Spurs are interested.

Thought he had a difficult season but clearly has potential.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - Fulham decided he was not ready to step up, but Spurs are indeed keen.}

Sell rashford, Lukaku and Martiql and Ronaldo will score the same amounts goals as all of them combined but i think if we weree going to go for him then we shouldve gone for him instead of Sanchez.

Its too late now and he is getting on a bit! .

Sky sports reporting we're interested in Newcastle's Sean longstaff . McTominay and longstaff midfield pairing of dreams eh! 😂.

Believable1 1Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - That would be an OGS choice if true.}

17 May 2019 11:02:10
Solid midfield for the Championship if true 😂.

Agree2 0Disagree

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, Longstaff has been excellent for Newcastle.}

17 May 2019 11:07:22
Cheers Ed haven’t seen that much of him but not sure he’s United material . but then again what is United material anymore!

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed001's Note - he was probably Newcastle's outstanding player of the season to be fair to the lad. Only Almiron could be said to have made as much of an impact.}

17 May 2019 11:18:00
I know Ed - very tongue in cheek. I’d rather good quality young lads any day with a sprinkling of experience in there than overpaid “stars”.

Agree1 0Disagree

{Ed001's Note - that is always what I think of as the United way too.}

17 May 2019 12:12:53
What kind of midfielder is Longstaff? Haven't had the chance to watch his this season.

Agree1 0Disagree

{Ed001's Note - very similar to McTominay, tall, leggy but not quite settled into a role and could play a number of them.}

17 May 2019 12:35:43
this site is laughable at times

go and sign young players people said.

now we are looking at that people still find something to slag off.

we have a small squad and many of the squad will leave in the summer

no doubt we will make a few big money signings but not ever player needs to be in there prime for a ridiculous amount.

to be successful we need a mix

people wanted a long term plan. let's see what happens.

17 May 2019 12:37:33
Call him longstaffinho and people would be loving this, another player who would work hard and grow into playing for us, I’d love it if this is the transfer policy mixed with a couple of high priced signings.

Agree10 0Disagree

17 May 2019 12:49:14
So bit of a cover/ rotation option capable of covering multiple roles. Sounds a handy type of player to have. Already knows the league. No language or cultural issues in settling. Sort of signing we used to do all the time. Back to basics.

Agree4 0Disagree

17 May 2019 12:53:41
Thanks Ed001. I find McTominay outstanding in his attitude, but technically, a player who mostly keeps it simple. But I must admit, he has grown as a player with more minutes. I will have to research some more on Longstaff.

Agree2 0Disagree

{Ed001's Note - he is worth watching, he is growing as a player as well. Shame he got injured when he did.}

17 May 2019 13:14:32
Ed, what kind of player Sean longstaff is? If you can tell us about his playing style and attributes.

Thanks in advance.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed001's Note - it is difficult to say because he has been given different roles. Initially when I saw him he was very like Matic, tall and frontscreening the defence. However I saw a couple of games later that he was performing a more box-to-box role and showed he had a good strike on him and played some lovely insightful passes too. He has yet to really develop into a style of playing and is still young enough to be moulded.}

17 May 2019 13:30:02
A good signing for United then you think Ed001?

Agree0 1Disagree

{Ed001's Note - yes, but only if he is part of a rebuild rather than the whole of it.}

17 May 2019 13:33:32
Ed001, What's your opinion on McTominay as a player? What role do you think he will settle into?

Agree1 1Disagree

{Ed001's Note - I like him, he has a lot to offer. I think he is one of those players who could slot in wherever he is asked to but I do think his height will keep him from being as mobile as he would need to be to play box-to-box or high up in a high press. So I can see him ending up as an old-fashioned all round central midfielder or a holding mid.}

17 May 2019 15:17:02
Haven't seen much of him then goes on to say not sure Man Utd material hmmmm.

Agree4 1Disagree

17 May 2019 15:24:34
Was about to post exactly the same thing GDS. We tend to assume that a young player from abroad with an exotic name has to be better than a working class lad from Newcastle,
Of course arguably our most famous player, sir bobby, came from up norf!

Agree2 0Disagree

17 May 2019 15:46:55
I doubt they want to sell or he wants to leave but interesting if that's the direction. Young British players who can grow with hopefully some top quality pro's in alongside.

17 May 2019 19:30:54
For forbid we suddenly have a strategy!

17 May 2019 20:15:45
We can’t get any worse I like the way it’s going if we sign these 2 players. Build a young fit side who can grow together.
Spend the big money on a centre half and hopefully it will gel together.

17 May 2019 05:59:11
Hi ed, hope you are well? With United needing to rebuild and some players wanting to leave, do you know if the club has softened it's stance on player exchanges as part of transfers?

I recall you stating in the past the club weren't keen on this and that they are very difficult to complete. I noticed you mention Cancelo on the European pages and that he could be part of any Pogba deal.

Believable0 0Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - No, what it means is JUventus would be open to offering him up as part of a deal. As a club Manchester United remain of an opinion that player trading in not the way forward.}

17 May 2019 11:22:58
I thought as much, it only really seems a viable option if the club were genuinely interested in a specific player that would be offered as part of a deal. Cheers as always Ed.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - Right, and to some extent that makes sense.}

16 May 2019 22:59:47

17 May 2019 06:43:16
An expensive, luxury player who has a questionable attitude and a massive ego but doesn't fill a role this team needs?

I am almost certain that Ed Woodward is on it.

17 May 2019 09:06:48
Only makes sense if we sell pogba as we would have change formation to accomodate him, probably a 4-4–1-1 with him playing off rashford.

Ed002 has mentioned juve could use him in any deal for pogba. I actually think it would be a good move for the club as pogba clearly wants to go.

Agree0 0Disagree

17 May 2019 11:04:10
Find the Pogba back to Juve love very odd unless he loves the club, Turin and life there.

Otherwise don’t see where his career is going unless it’s too a Madrid or Barca?

Agree0 0Disagree

17 May 2019 11:43:41
Given the way united have poorly recruited and the poor relationship he has with the fans, i am sure his main career focus is just to leave the club.
