You don't win EPL with these in team and even struggle with Ole as manager, none of them are good enough.
Every one of this list is mid table EPL player at best.

Ole as manager
AWB right back
McT
Fred
Martial
James
VDB.

Skyliner

{Ed014's Note - didn’t you forget Lingard, Mata, Matic, Lindelof, Bailey, Pogba, Williams, Henderson, De Gea and Maguire🤷‍♂️

1.) 13 Aug 2021 09:59:24
Our dross is still better than Arsenals dross.

2.) 13 Aug 2021 11:16:50
writing DVB off after one season - a foreigner playing in a new league during a C.V. might be a tad premature.

3.) 13 Aug 2021 11:16:56
John O’Shea
Luke Chadwick
Jordi Cruyff
Shinji Kagawa
Danny Welbeck
Karen Poborsky
Alex Buttner

I could go on for a while, players that have been in premier league winning squads that aren’t as good as most of the players on your list.

4.) 13 Aug 2021 09:56:58
Not being funny 014 but if that they are mid table players then arsenal must be relegation fodder 😉.

{Ed014's Note - don’t panic Red, you’re not funny! 🤣

I’m slightly different to you though, I know how good or bad Arsenal are where as the majority after 2 signings on here go from a pretty average squad last season to one of the best this season.

Hence ground hog day. But good luck! 😉

5.) 13 Aug 2021 12:53:34
So we judging ourselves along Arsenal now are we!
GDS problem with your argument is they was not all in same squad together! And this lot are……. And another big flaw Is Fergie was Manager!
So really not a great statement to make.

6.) 13 Aug 2021 12:47:33
There’s no good in Arsenal Ed you should know better by now.

{Ed014's Note - 😂🤦‍♂️ if you say so who am I to disagree.

There’s good everywhere fella it just depends on how good and as usual you’re over egging your good but hey it’s normal.

7.) 13 Aug 2021 14:06:57
Have to agree with ED014, United specs need to be abandoned just for a moment

We will play more of the same and just pin our hopes on something exceptional from one player or another, have no idea how to break teams down and no plan B, let alone C or D just be usual on the break score a goal.

Most of this is down to the coaching and management of this team, ok we not got many world beaters maybe 1,2 or 3 rest are just above average, which is still not impossible to win something with but you need very good coaches and management to win with these and we not got that.

8.) 13 Aug 2021 16:53:36
Writing off AWB, one of the best defenders in the league, says enough about this post.

{Ed077's Note - agreed.

9.) 14 Aug 2021 01:52:17
Skyliner, nothing but a troll, your posts are getting silly.

Reminds me of someone actually 🤔.

12 Aug 2021 15:29:17
This probably won't be popular but everyone is talking about Sancho as if he some world class player that's going to turn us into world beaters, when in reality he hardly pulled up any trees at Euros in fact could hardly get on the pitch, when he did, did not do a lot. Same with VDB he seems to get a better player in everyone's eyes by not playing, so sancho being judged on German league where even Gnarby is a world beater but hardly got a game in premier league with Arsenal and VDB judged because he played for Ajax!
We go into season with only 1 proper striker and 1 world class player in Bruno and we are yet to see how Varane performs without Ramos backing him up and organising him.

Skyliner

1.) 12 Aug 2021 15:49:40
Can't say I've seen much of that kind of response to Sancho's signing Skyliner? He does improve us however, but judging from my short time here folk don't get too optimistic! :D.

2.) 12 Aug 2021 16:06:31
skyliner this made me chuckle.

did you watch the euros? he played 1 game and came on to take a pen?

you say gnarby hardly got a game he was 20 years of age when he went to westbrom on loan

between 2012 - 2015 at arsenal he was played 10 times while still being under the age of 21. what u21

he has since gone on to play for one of the biggest teams in football and if you check with the spurs fans he kind of tore them a new one. he is a good player

Sancho is 21, and he's come to us on the back of 3 very successful seasons at Dortmund.

3.) 12 Aug 2021 17:06:00
He should do fine will probably do better next season than this coming one i think all our players will.

4.) 12 Aug 2021 17:06:11
Sancho had a poor euros because he only played 1 game. sure that's not his fault. GS team selection was dodgy at best especially nearer the final stages. climaxing with a p. poor final.

5.) 12 Aug 2021 17:16:38
“When he did, did not do a lot. ”

Really? The one game he started, he did far more on the right wing than Foden or Saka did in their multiple starts. Why on earth Southgate went back to Saka after that will always be beyond me.

Sancho improves us drastically. Imagine us going into the start of the season with Rashford injured, Cavani away and no Sancho. We’d be looking at an Elanga, Greenwood, James front three with nothing else on the bench.

Sancho will get a minimum of 15 goal involvements this season.

6.) 12 Aug 2021 18:25:27
And the most ridiculous post of the day goes to. skyliner.

7.) 12 Aug 2021 18:31:20
I think this is phishing.

8.) 12 Aug 2021 19:10:08
I think the op is a troll.
Sancho is an ambitious player who had courage to leave the comfort zone and ply his trade in Germany and proved himself.

His decision making his beyond his age and rest of his attributes will keep improving as he gains more experience.

9.) 12 Aug 2021 22:57:02
Of all the drivel in that post my favourite part is that we are yet to see how Varane can play without Ramos. How about winning the World Cup? Seeing as you’re into watching summer tournaments.

10.) 13 Aug 2021 05:13:45
Skyliner, there is always speculation on players coming in from another league on whether they can adapt to the PL.

Both Varane and Sancho would need to prove themselves in probably the toughest league they would have ever experienced and I hope they do just that.

11.) 13 Aug 2021 09:18:50
I'm inclined to think is purely PR to avoid a clash with the third kit release and Chelsea's announcement of Lukaku, they probably want the spotlight entirely on Varane.

12.) 13 Aug 2021 14:33:55
Llv I can assure you your assumption is incorrect.
I'm assuming you are not a marketeer.

12 Aug 2021 13:01:48
I notice on another page that Shappy says United team is catching up in a post about PSG, I thought that was funny and he was looking through his united specs so wondered who in united team could walk into the PSG team and whom could they replace, look forward to hearing views.

Skyliner

{Ed014's Note - I’ll get the popcorn! 🤣

1.) 12 Aug 2021 13:41:23
Catching up in what? Spending? because it isn’t trophies or ambition.

2.) 12 Aug 2021 13:44:37
Pogba. Walking pace suits him.

3.) 12 Aug 2021 13:48:06
Skyliner,

The entire United team if PSG could afford having our genius Ole as their manager. They can only dream I guess.

4.) 12 Aug 2021 13:56:00
Salford7, heard that Mino and Pogba would only agree a move if PSG agree to rename the club to "Pogba Saint-Germain".

5.) 12 Aug 2021 14:06:56
Well, Varane walks in. They wanted him. Cavani would still do a job as he did, but maybe starts less and less given their options. But after that things get hazy! VDB might suit them better.
Still never seen one thing from Neymar that suggests he is anything special. Dreadful play actor which never endears itself, like Rivaldo. I admit he'd sell a few shirts, but there's probably a good handful of players I'd prefer over him.

6.) 12 Aug 2021 14:12:02
🤣🤣 Like it.

7.) 12 Aug 2021 14:14:07
Neymar is a fabulous player but is a cry baby and falls over too often.

8.) 12 Aug 2021 14:15:28
Awww bless I picked up a troll.

As you asked nicely I'll explain quite clearly what I mean. By catching up I mean having a squad more capable of going toe to toe with them.

I'd agree there probably isn't many players you'd swap right now. But then several of PSG's most important players are over 30 and will be/ are in decline, as opposed to the United counter parts who on the whole are young and 2-3 years away from hitting their peak years. Ironically Ole has won a couple of games against PSG despite having the inferior side.

By catching up I mean the squad Ole took over that had a first team of:

DDG, Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Young, Matic, Pogba, Herrera, Mata, Lukaku, Sanchez

With players Fellaini, Blind, Rojo, Jones, Martial, Lingard, and Darmian as back up.

That's the starting point for Ole.

We now have a first 11 of:

DDG, AWB, Varane, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Bruno, Sancho, Cavani, Rashford

With the likes of Lindelof, Telles, Matic, James, Martial, Greenwood.

Along with young players like Mengi, Williams, Garner, Amad, Elanga and Shoretire all making pushes toward the first team squad.

Which line up is closer to PSG, the one Ole inherited or the one he has now assembled? Ergo he is catching up to them and not dropping away.

9.) 12 Aug 2021 14:25:32
Not strictly true shappy as it assumes psg have stood still.

Which clearly isn't true as they've signed the best player in the world, real madrids captain and the player of the tournament in the euros.

10.) 12 Aug 2021 14:29:13
Spenno, that's a little unfair. Neymar is a much better actor than say Tom Cruise 🤣.

11.) 12 Aug 2021 14:35:35
What have PSG won in Europe in the last 5 years? They didn't even win their domestic league last year. They were beaten by City and they should have been beaten by us. The only problem with Shappy's analysis is that PSG is probably not the team we need to be measuring ourselves against.

12.) 12 Aug 2021 14:48:17
Maguire, Varane, Bruno and Sancho would all get in the team reasonably regularly.

13.) 12 Aug 2021 15:20:02
It feels like it's all heading towards a City v PSG showdown for ultimate bragging rights. Bayern and Chelsea might have something to say about it but that's how things seem to me at the moment.
Part of me wants City to snare Kane just to give them the upper hand. Still got to go with the home clubs in Europe, until Utd face one of them that is, and then I have to suggest we're probably the weakest at the moment owing to that midfield and inability to control games. We're pretty devastating on the break though which will be our strength even more with Sancho in the mix.

GDS2. Seriously wrong there, no admirer that’s for sure, just fed up reading the complete and utter BS he comes up with 50% of the time, the other 50% is too boring to read

No problem having opinions, that’s what makes it interesting but he tries to preach that he is right and everyone else is wrong then tries to back up with stats from spending too much time on Google.

I been thinking this is right this is wrong, this is how we should play, this is what the club should do, this is how to run a professional club, this is who we should sign, this is who should be in first team, Shappy knows it all, I wonder why a professional EPL club not signed him up as CEO by now, after all football is football Shappy even the Sunday league is the same, as you say!

LOL. Is that Sunday league Shappy……. time you explained to striker what you wanted him to do game would be over!

And I can 99% guarantee Ole won’t bring on a striker he don’t operate like that he holds and protects, he don’t even put on extra striker if we are winning 5-0.
