im with mumbles on the youth policy, ole has sang there praises but given only greenwood game time. gomes in particular should be getting some minutes under his belt especially considering how poor lingard has performed. garner hasn't even made match day squads yet but anyone watching the u23,s cannot fail to be impressed with his work rate, goals and hitting 60-70yd passes on a sixpence. as we have seen right across the premier league young up and coming stars are in a hurry to play 1st team football and we've seen a mass exodus of all the prems top team starlets moving abroad to achieve this especially to the bundesliga. chongs agent already has had overtures from big european clubs, so its a problem we and other clubs will face if there good enough play them or lose them.

i will never call for a utd manager to be sacked but something has got to give very soon, we can't carry on with this style of football and results. i'm afraid ole has no idea what to do to stop the rot, yes we are short on quality but to continue playing the likes of mata, matic, fred, perraira and lingard hoping they will eventually come good is clueless. the midfield is our biggest problem without players who can break up play and unlock a packed defence with a pinpoint pass the forwards are going to be starved of chances especially against the better teams and fred needs checking that he isn't colour blind as he passes to the other team that much. james garner has got to be given a chance as he can't be worse than what we are seeing, only positives last night were we didn't get beat and brandon williams making his debut i thought he had a decent game and will only improve with more game time. i'm also of the same opinion that others have said if were still playing like this come january why would any of the targets we've supposidlly identified be interested in coming to us if there current teams are competing for things. horrible times at the minute and deja vu over the last 6 years as we've regressed instead of competing again and look further away from when fergie left.

hes had a great season so far and will get frustrated that our dominant midfielders pierra, fred and lingard are getting games every week. them 3 should never wear a utd shirt again they are useless.

not many positives you could take after that other than we didn't lose, young, lingard, pogba, fred were crap and rashford wasnt far behind. perreira plenty of effort but little end result that was probably the worse utd/ arsenal game I've ever seen at old trafford very little quality on show last night.

i personally wouldn't start either perraira or lingard there not good enough and seem to have gone backwards instead of pushing on.

if you watch the u23,s he's a consistant performer plays on the left but is right footed. he gets forward a lot and creates a lot of chances for the forwards, he's strong in the tackle just watch footage of last years game against liverpool away a straight red after sending one of there players about 2ft in the air. he looked very calm on the ball last night when he came on but perraira was getting in his way as he likes to get to the byline and put crosses in.
