Our linen just got a whole lot less dirty. at least for Ineos and the Leadership.
We have just signed a deal woth Amazon, the most expensive in documentary history for All or Nothing starting in 5 weeks time. The week before pre season is the go light for filming. Just for clarity, this means the value surpasses the $150m paid to our royal traitor and his psycho gaslighting bird. That's roughly £108m, which wipes out the extra borrowing cost we signed last week.
This does seem to nod to the feeling behind the scenes that all is calm, we have our identity back to the point where they are happy to raise the curtain and show behind the scenes so they clearly fele we are going in the right direction.
I am also cynical that they think we are about to make a proper serious play for the league, amd who knows, maybe that £108m was for a big splash this year to secure all our desired key position upgrades (five I believe, 3 mids, a lb and a lw. Possibly Lewandowski as an educational striker.
I also think the timing may be deliberate to send a clear message to potential acquisitions that we see ourselves as the same poaitjon city and Arsenal were when they signed for theirs, very much upward trajectory.
Why cynical? Well not just for the payday, but imagine if we actually did pull off the league next year, after all, we would have won the title. Coupled with some extra new players (not always a guarantee as Liverpool disastrously showed last year, but more often than not a boost for points, imagine how many PPVs an end of season special or edited directors cut would bring in extra cash. At £20 quid a bob times several million downloads.
Anyway, whatever happens next season ot will be a great watch as a series.
15 Jun 2026 14:27:55
You lost me at royal traitor and gaslighting bird.
15 Jun 2026 14:44:18
I'm not really a fan of those Netflix football documentaries, partly because they always feel a bit too polished and controlled, but also because I think what happens inside a football club should largely remain private. The dressing room, team meetings, disagreements, and day-to-day conversations are meant to stay within the club.
Once cameras are involved, people inevitably become more conscious of how they come across, and it stops being a genuine behind-the-scenes environment. For me, some parts of football are better left behind closed doors rather than turned into entertainment.
15 Jun 2026 14:54:35
Well that's good, Tony, I was never trying to hold your attention anyways.
15 Jun 2026 14:58:21
Ports, I think you're right. I expect anyone who gets in front of a camera puts on a show, and I also wonder about the authenticity of what hits the cutting room floor based on editorial control rights. Will we really see the truth, or just what people want us to see?
Devil's advocate, perhaps it may encourage all the right behaviours if they're in the spotlight enough, and it acts in a positive light towards enhancing the culture.
That said, we never needed the right optics when SAF was in charge and Keane led the team. They policed themselves. No cameras needed. Their performances were on the pitch, not off it, so a point well made.
15 Jun 2026 15:16:39
Going to be one hell of a tough watch with Carrick as manager, as he is an impressively boring person in front of the camera.
15 Jun 2026 15:48:03
It's just the way the world has gone. Huge new types of income streams and audiences.
Ports has quite an old school view on it, and I agree with him at heart on this one.
However, if you don't move with the times, you get left behind.
We can't afford to ignore these income streams and the other income streams that will come from the halo effect, and we must reach the widest audience possible to keep up with the competition.
I have very old school and often traditional views on many things until it comes to making money and maximising income. Then it's a question of what's best for the business going forward, and you can't be singular and hold the business back to remain in the good old days.
I probably won't watch it. I never saw the other clubs' ones, except for odd highlights. I've no interest, really, in the showbiz side of the business, but I understand it needs to exist in order for the football side I am interested in to be competitive.
15 Jun 2026 12:40:35
Looks like an early reunion with Amorim is in the offing, should he join AC Milan. We have a friendly arranged with them in mid August. Supposedly this will also save us a bit of dosh as he isn't entitled to the zillion pounds in compensation if he joins another club.
Not sure why you wouldn't wait a while if you were on the brink of a big pay day.
15 Jun 2026 15:10:23
Going to be one hell of a tough watch with Carrick as manager, as he is an impressively boring person in front of the camera.
15 Jun 2026 15:17:55
Apologies, wrong post. I assume Amorim has got bored of playing Padel and wants to get back into management and prove himself at a poorly performing big club like Milan, a pretty decent opportunity for him to land on his feet.
15 Jun 2026 11:20:40
Redman, you might get your wish now Madrid have signed a proper lb our ex academy kid might be available. Not up to the job in Madrid. We did well getting what we got for him.
15 Jun 2026 13:19:50
Jose knows you need experienced players when building a team. I know everyone keeps mentioning to keep buying young potential, but you just have to have experience in there first & foremost, then you can afford to sprinkle a few youngsters, and it helps them no end.
Same with our striker, sign an experienced one for him to learn off, along with a very experienced CB with pace, and along with the midfield, hopefully we get them, and we will be in a much better place...
Trent might be up for sale. I would take him. Please, Jose.
15 Jun 2026 13:54:33
TW
We got €6M and maybe a little extra in a sell on. Benfica got what was it €55M. We missed out on the big money. Have Madrid said Alvaro is surplus?
15 Jun 2026 15:56:07
No, but he will be back up 3rd choice now, as he was 2nd choice. He didn't do well, and will probably get sold next summer. Our total income was £16.2m, which was all profit.
He was totally out of his depth in Madrid.
He is a good player, but not up to the EPL physically, either. The Portuguese league suited him. He might get a good loan deal. He is a good player. I was only pulling your leg. He will find his level, but was completely overhyped coming out of that poor league.
15 Jun 2026 01:33:46
Watching the Ivory Coast match and can see Diomande, the Leipzig player, has a lot of ability, but he is still very young and far from the finished article. I think he should stay with Leipzig another year or so, and then maybe we should bid for him, but I think another top club will try seriously hard to get him now, even though he is raw.
15 Jun 2026 06:32:00
Salford
I read Liverpool were looking to do the deal now.
Depends on our priorities, but I suspect he may not be available in a year or so.
15 Jun 2026 08:29:28
Red Man, you are probably right that he will be signed by them or someone else. For his personal development, I would love to see him signed by us and then loaned to Leipzig or another club to let him mature a little. Then come to us when we will have seen whether Carrick is a really good manager or have one in place.
15 Jun 2026 11:13:11
That sub who came on for them did pretty well too, and he scored the winner.
15 Jun 2026 11:14:53
I don't think any club will pay £100m for a player just to immediately loan them out.
15 Jun 2026 11:48:25
Good player, but not enough converge yet to justify spending that sort of money on him imo. He could become another Pepe or Januzaj as easily as the next Hazard.
Too high risk in our position imo.
He has not achieved anything in the game yet, really. Very highly rated by those that should know, but he is one id definitely pass on for the moment.
15 Jun 2026 12:33:33
Seems like he's going to be expensive... I'm getting Antony vibes. Why not take a punt on Mitoma or Summerville?
15 Jun 2026 13:26:56
We are nowhere near the position of signing that sort of player and crossing our fingers. We're just not in that position at this time. We need some decent, experienced players that hit the ground running to go straight into our first 11.
Casemiro's chat was good. He said Mainoo is fantastic and can be whatever he wants, got everything but needs pushing all the time, on the pitch and in training... That explains why all Mainoo's best games are next to Casemiro, which is concerning, because a new player in won't be Casemiro, who has seen it all and done it all.
The new player will be concerned about himself, not pushing Mainoo through games.
Let's hope Mainoo takes it on board and works on that part of his game, but I am concerned if that penny will drop. You're either that way or not; Mainoo seems a bit too laid back for his own good. Let's hope, though.
15 Jun 2026 13:56:23
I maintain we need a centre forward, young quick goal scorer. Can't go into the next season with just Sesko.
That would be a priority over a left winger for me.
15 Jun 2026 14:57:38
Red Man, Kroupi Jr fits the bill...
15 Jun 2026 15:30:07
We need an experienced striker with pace. And he will start most of the games. Sesko has so much to learn. Plus, we need an experienced CB with pace, a new midfielder, and another GK. It is quite a big shopping list, but we can’t afford any of the potential buys in our position. We need players straight into the starting 11.
14 Jun 2026 13:39:05
6 weeks of summer football instead of 4 weeks. Games every day. Can't be all bad.
But, of course, it's all about maximizing revenues and if you want to do that, the US is the place to do it. Once upon a time we had "e pluribus unum" on the money, then during the red scare of the 50s they changed it to "In God we Trust". The real motto of the US should be the old W C Fields slogan "Never Give a Sucker an Even Break". Ticket scamming is not only perfectly legal, it's built into the system with virtual monopolies often owning both venues and ticket vendors.
Gianni Sycophantino bought off Trump, knowing the latter could easily disrupt the games. The FIFA peace price? Now there's a joke. That's a comment on the abject world in which this tournament is taking place. It's maybe even a step down from a winter cup in Qatar, but, as much as I considered boycotting it, I can't help but watch, although I'm doing it on the Spanish channel, a language I don't understand. This way I don't have to listen to any of the insufferably didactic American sports announcers, and I can escape from all the terrible things going on for a few hours.
14 Jun 2026 10:54:05
This World Cup is a shambles. So much has already been written in the mainstream press (Somali ref, Senegalise team searched, half time show) and I don't want to repeat all the issues here.
However, whilst we know football sold its soul to the devil some years ago, what we are seeing here is beyond parody.
Extending the competition to 48 teams is driven by two things. More games equals more money (who knew?), and more teams means Infantino can continue to count on the votes of the lower profile nations and consolidate his power base. But more teams will lead to some meaningless games, and only 16 teams will drop out after the group stage.
Then there is the cost of tickets and the cost within the grounds. The price of tickets is obscene and Infantino's indifference is staggering. We are already seeing lots of empty seats which shows the supply vs demand argument is deeply flawed, and FIFA's resale aproach is just another grubby money grabber.
And worst of all, we effectively now have 4 quarters due to the mandatory drinks breaks, whatever the temperature.
The beautiful game isn't looking too beautiful right now.
14 Jun 2026 11:23:13
Agree completely, AJH.
The water breaks are solely there for the US broadcasters to plug more commercials during the game. Thankfully, UK broadcasters know better. FIFA, as an organisation, is just corrupt, top to bottom. The World Cups are getting worse - thankfully, they are still 4 years apart.
I'm glad the seats are empty. Part of me hopes it's the same throughout the whole tournament, so it can expose them for what they are, as you said, grubby money grabbers.
But even still, it won't change anything.
This World Cup was always going to be like Coachella, fake fan influencers more interested in posting to Instagram than the actual games, whilst most real football fans are left out.
I would love to see England win the World Cup in my lifetime, but at the same time, I hate watching them because international football just isn't the same.
14 Jun 2026 11:29:49
The game looks beautiful for the people of Haiti or Qatar, or all the other minnows who get to play on a big stage with the elite ones every 4 years.
Perhaps we should only let any nation that's won it in the last 60 years enter.
Yes, the quality is diminished at this stage of the tournament, but why don't we stop non league teams entering the FA Cup while we are at it.
Those that can't afford to travel or see games live can see them on TV.
I agree that the prices of travel, accommodation and tickets are unreasonable, but they are unreasonable for the Premiership too.
When a captive audience is there, prices go up. Ever buy lunch at a watermark or zoo or festival? Captive audience means inflated prices.
Why are you desperate not to allow minnows the opportunity to play on the biggest stage of all? Are they not worthy?
England have won nothing for over 60 years, the epitome of a minnow.
It's a global game, let people enjoy it who don't get the opportunity too often. None of those teams have disgraced themselves so far. In fact, I bet they will exceed expectations, while England will fall short of their inflated expectations yet again.
14 Jun 2026 11:38:22
Of course they are worthy, Ken, if they qualify, but many would not have qualified if it hadn't been extended to 48 teams. Perhaps we should extend it to 96 teams to let more minnows play on the big stage.
I've lost all respect for you.
14 Jun 2026 11:56:57
🤣🤣🤣 Oh please, don't say that, you dirty rascal.
I take your point, AJH, but I think it's a good thing. Lots of bad things happening in the world, extending the wc to 48 teams is not one of them imo.
It brings joy and prosperity. The Irish still talk about the time we got to the 1/4 final, it was great times for our football loving nation, likely never to be repeated. Iceland in the 1/4 final recently too. Amazing scenery there when it happened.
I get the arguments against it for player welfare, etc., but what about the players' welfare, if you're from Haiti, do you not deserve a chance to play at the event. Extending it gives those countries a chance to experience something magical. Don't lobby to take it away from them. 🤣 Embrace it.
Don't give up on us yet, AJH, I still think there is hope for us if you can just be a little more inclusive. God bless your soul. 🤣🤣
14 Jun 2026 12:58:27
I quite like having so many teams involved, but, of course, it's all a cash cow.
More of a problem is 4th, 5th, 6th placed teams in their respective national leagues qualifying for a Champions' League each season.
Arsenal should be there next season for sure, and Carrick has worked wonders to rescue what was looking increasingly like another poor season, but I wouldn't say I'm proud to be United 3rd.
Anyway, I digress.
14 Jun 2026 13:10:51
I get it, I do. But it also extends the tournament and makes it a bit of a slog. And, despite what FIFA are saying, there are a whole lot of empty seats.
14 Jun 2026 13:41:49
Extending it to more teams is good, I think, but the lack of jeopardy at the group stage is a terrible decision. That three can progress from a group makes it almost pointless to tune in.
And the ticket pricing is a separate issue.
That's a stain on FIFA that is a disgrace. The organisation cannot say they are trying to make the game more inclusive whilst charging thousands for a match ticket.
14 Jun 2026 13:56:36
Virtually one win takes you through. I have no problem with minnows being there, but, as usual in any tournament, it is a bit of a joke and a bore until the knockout stage. Same with the Champions League; knockout football is always better.
What in life is not a rip off now? Everything is about money. My view is, if you want something you either pay its price or you do not have it, but today people just want it given to them, and if it is not, then they moan about it...
That is life 2026.
14 Jun 2026 14:14:44
I agree the structure is wrong for this many teams. Lack of jeopardy is a good phrase.
I see why they extended it and I also see the drawbacks, but it's a football tournament, why not enjoy it for what it is.
Great to see the minnows' fans and the colour they bring.
The Welsh, Scots and Irish have great times when they qualify. I'm sure it's the same for the fans from Haiti, Jordan and Qatar, for example.
I'd love my lads to experience a WC like I did as a young lad at Italia 90. You can't buy those sort of experiences.
The more that qualify, the better chance these fans have to go to such an event.
England usually qualify. I can only remember 1 or 2 WC that England didn't qualify for, so you take it for granted perhaps.
14 Jun 2026 14:31:45
Good shout, spenno. A European Super League by stealth, albeit with some qualifications as opposed to the suggested closed shop. Money talks.
14 Jun 2026 21:58:21
100% agree with Ken on inclusivity. And FIFA is a corrupt joke, but we already knew that.
15 Jun 2026 07:12:54
I like these new teams coming in and playing with heart. It's called the World Cup, and the more teams showcased at the highest level can only be a good thing for the sport.
It gets my vote, albeit with perhaps a better structure. But I am not qualified to say how!
15 Jun 2026 11:58:52
I do think expanding the World Cup has taken away a bit of the prestige that came with qualifying for it. Part of what made the tournament so special was how difficult it was to get there. Making it to a World Cup used to be a huge achievement, and with more teams involved, that exclusivity inevitably gets diluted.
That said, I can also see the positives. There are countries that would probably never have had the chance to experience a World Cup under the old format. Giving more nations the opportunity to compete on the biggest stage can only help grow the game globally and inspire the next generation of players and fans.
My bigger issue is the cost. Ticket prices, accommodation, travel, food - it's becoming ridiculously expensive for ordinary supporters.
The World Cup is supposed to be a celebration of football for fans from all over the world, but more and more it feels like it's becoming an event for those who can afford it.
If FIFA are going to keep charging these prices and bringing in record revenues, then they need to be completely transparent about where that money is going. If it's being invested into grassroots football, coaching, facilities, and developing the game in countries that need support, then fair enough. But fans deserve to know how the money is being used and whether it's actually helping football grow worldwide.
The World Cup should be about more than just making money. It should be about growing the game while keeping the tournament accessible and special for the supporters who make it what it is.
15 Jun 2026 13:28:11
Nearly every man and his dog qualified, but Wales & Ireland ... What's that say about them then...!
14 Jun 2026 01:08:06
First World Cup overreaction.
The wee number 6 for Morocco, Bouaddi looks a tidy wee player.
18, but plays with the composure of a much older player.
Lille do bring through some good young players.
14 Jun 2026 01:45:15
Ronnie is enjoying himself, God Bless his soul.
14 Jun 2026 07:40:35
Utd have been linked with him. If he continues to play like this, his value will go through the roof.
14 Jun 2026 12:39:59
There was a queue of clubs lining up for him already, Stevie. He genuinely looks class. I was thinking of how well he'd work alongside Manioo. Plus, I'm a sucker for a big mop of bouncy curls. It made me nostalgic for Fellaini.
14 Jun 2026 12:50:27
He played well last night. All over the pitch, always available, good tekkers.
Very young too.
I'd like to see a lot more of him play.
EPL is very different, of course, but he looked very tidy indeed on last night's showing.
14 Jun 2026 16:03:10
It seems Arsenal are in contact with Lille and are discussing a transfer. Liverpool are seemingly also interested, PSG as well, and we have been linked with him.
A lot of love for him, a good tournament, and a big move will certainly follow.
He needs to go and buy a wheelbarrow for himself, to carry away all the money coming his way.
14 Jun 2026 17:45:14
Let's wait & see. One swallow doesn't make a summer. It's one game, like one game for Casemiro, who had a stinker. Let's judge after half a dozen games before we start crying out for every player.
Yes, he played well, but let's see what happens.
There were lots of cries for Sancho, Antony and Onana, the list goes on. Let's see how it goes.
14 Jun 2026 19:24:38
Je Suis...... Sensible comment..... Far too early to judge him, and how many great-looking World Cup players flop when in the Premier League.
Stoke on a wet winter night, anyone?
14 Jun 2026 21:52:43
Je Suis and Salford, this isn't really about one WC game. There's a reason that he's one of the most sought after young players in Europe, and seeing him command the midfield against Brazil in his first WC match shows that the hype is warranted. Particularly when you consider that he has only been part of the Moroccan team for less than two months.
This is a young lad that has been a key first team player since he turned 16, and really looks the part on the biggest stage. I suspect that every big club in Europe is looking at him.
14 Jun 2026 22:11:06
It's nothing to do with one game, his form over all of last season and his obvious high standards of technical ability are the reasons he is a player interesting many of the major clubs.
The stage he appeared on yesterday may well of brought him to the attention of many for the first time jsu, just because you know nothing of him you should not assume the same applies to others. Silly thing to say.
I would take far more notice of his performance against Brazil than against Stoke, those type of games are no more.
14 Jun 2026 23:44:09
I don't watch as much football as I used to, and I've stopped playing Fm, so I'm not as up to date on the 'wonderkids' as I used to be. Unlike the rest of you, I'd honestly never heard of him.
It was my young lad who told me to watch out for him.
He knows a lot more about football now than I do.
Danny, I'm the same mate. Fellaini, Chong, Zirkzee. It's about time someone with lovely bouncy curls came along that's actually a decent player as well. 😁
14 Jun 2026 23:52:45
Don't you dare bad mouth my Felli.
He had it all. Left foot, right foot, two arms with hands on the ends, and big old head with bouncy curls on top. Every single appendage required for the game of football on a single body!
15 Jun 2026 04:23:13
About more than one game, where? In what league? How many games? Bit like the overreaction to Baleba, who had half a good season, and many wanted to pay 100 million for him last season.
Yes, the kid may be good, may even be great, but to want to buy every player who looks good in the first match of a tournament is an overreach by anyone's standards. You say all of EU is looking at him; that may be so, but it's also the case that none of those clubs have signed him up yet, so I would say they want to see more too.
If you're that great, like you seem to say he is, I am 109% confident he would be at one of those clubs already before he got the chance to shine and the price went up at a WC.
Like I say, he may even turn out to be great. Hopefully for him, he does.
15 Jun 2026 11:19:45
The French League.
60-plus games in 2 seasons.
For the team that finished 3rd.
It's why the team that won the league and the last 2 Champions Leagues is currently trying to sign him.
It's why a World Cup semi-finalist promised him that he'd start for them if he changed national allegiance.
The more accurate comparison is Rooney. A young lad who got into his first team at a very young age.
He took his opportunity, cemented his position in the team, and showed that he could compete against anyone. Then, after two seasons, he got poached by the best team in the league.
It's not down to one game. He had a queue of top clubs looking to sign him this summer before he even declared for Morocco.
15 Jun 2026 13:34:19
Nice... but no one signed him yet.
We are nowhere near the position to be signing more potential and gambles. We currently need players who are tried & tested and walk straight into our starting 11.
Garnacho was going to be a world beater, and at 16-17 looked on course.
Janazui, another.
Yoro was supposed to be a great CB in France, but has not looked that great to me.
Taking that gamble is great if you've got a great, stable team and you can gamble and bed them in. We certainly have not got that luxury.
15 Jun 2026 14:34:00
Of course no one has signed him yet, the PL transfer window has only opened today, it is 1st July for European Leagues. You seem to be exceeding even your normal standards for saying idiotic things.
Also he is a little busy at the moment playing some rather important games, and with the number of clubs talking to his representatives and Lille it will certainly not be happening in the short term.
What is with this endless talk of Januzaj, that is of no relevance, it is by no means a fair comparison. If you want to make a comparison then use a player of similar quality.
14 Jun 2026 00:26:43
The world cup put to aside as it is clearly being used for exploitation of the masses by elite parasites; it's going to be an interesting season from September. I don't recall so many teams having quite so much of big changes for the new season. Do you agree?
Arsenal are probably the only title contenders that are not having massive changes but IMO I would be shocked if they do a back to back.
I know we still do not know who signs who, just yet, but clearly Liverpoos season just gone has proved who you sign means FA when it comes to winning anything.
I look forward to all your inputs over the next year. And a special thanks to the EDs who run the show.
Special mention and a minute of silence for the gentleman adventurer and legend, Ed002. You live in our hearts 💕 transfer season is not the same without you. RIP.
I am on this site everyday. Read most comments. I apparently dive in to drop a grenade and leg it, but that's not the case.
I don't get to watch all the football I want. Can not afford it. Simples. So. I respect peoples views on here to get more than an insight than highlights give me. Kudos to you all.
Now. I have a problem; I have had to chisel off all the Carragher posters off of my bedroom ceiling thanks to being heartborken by a certain poster (This is the 2nd time I have had to give up weed I may add! )
Has anyone any suggestions on another ugly twunt I can pin up to get me through the sleepless nights?
All the best, your friendly local Monkey__balls 👍 x.
13 Jun 2026 07:53:43
Maybe Stevie had a premonition as Lou Macari has just been awarded an MBE. Well deserved.
13 Jun 2026 10:25:11
Noucamp, next week's lotto numbers, please.
13 Jun 2026 10:35:43
Just read it. My words obviously ring loud in the corridors of power!
Congratulations to Lou. Thoroughly deserved and well overdue.
5 11 14 23 24 32, Ken.
13 Jun 2026 14:35:55
Bonus ball?
13 Jun 2026 15:00:04
Ffs, Stevie, this was the perfect opportunity to reply with, 6 7 6 7 6 7, and sit back to watch everyone's piss boil.
13 Jun 2026 16:50:29
Have to hold my hands up, Danny.
I have no idea what you're talking about. 😁
Ken - 8.
12 Jun 2026 21:16:01
Hi Ed001 I was wondering what your thoughts are on Matheus Fernandes? Seems like we are pushing to sign him, sounds pricey though!
{Ed001's Note - ability wise he is excellent, but I do have some worries over his attitude when things are not going well. At both Southampton and West Ham, during bad patches he would just throw his arms up in the air and stand around stropping, when you really want them to work harder when things are not going well. But he has got excellent ability on the ball and does usually work hard and get about the pitch well.}
12 Jun 2026 21:46:38
Thanks Ed, hopefully we can get that out of him!
Hopefully he can do a solid job for us
12 Jun 2026 22:16:22
His captain will sort that out. 🤪
12 Jun 2026 22:38:15
Ed001, do you think he can better than Elliot Anderson, ability wise? I think they are similar with similar atributes, Elliot is more of a leader but maybe, just maybe, Fernandez has a higher celling
{Ed001's Note - different types of players, he is more creative but Anderson is more mobile and is better all-round. Fernandez is more of a Wharton type upgrade,}

Thanks as always Ed001. I think (and is just me thinking) that longterm he will be Brunos successor. The times i have seen Mateus, he has the creativity with both legs, a very good shoot, good set pieces and he is an excelent passer. He has all the atributes to succed Bruno, even the moaning.
I would say he can become even better than bruno because i think he is faster with better driving on the ball, a better version of Bruno. Do you think it is a possibility or i am too far in my thinking?
{Ed001's Note - I am not sure he can become better, that is a high bar, Bruno may not be the most likeable player, but he is truly elite.}

Better than Bruno, maybe wishful thinking or even foolish thinking, but of course we never know. If he gets anywhere near, that would be great for him...
Totally different player than Anderson.

Think he has all the attributes to be a great, top-tier midfielder. Still disappointed on missing out on Anderson, but if he wants City then not much can be done. Think the moaning could be something that might be different in a better team, where he won't get away with it.

Who would be your pick of the players we should sign Ed1?
{Ed001's Note - Anderson is the standout, but other than him I would say Gomes from Wolves looks ideal as he can play a couple of roles.}

Thanks Ed, i think i have said it here before, those Wolves MFs Gomes and even Andre are worth a look.
