Good luck jesse.

1.) 29 Jan 2021 11:19:56
Hopefully this up and coming academy kid realises his potential on loan.

2.) 29 Jan 2021 13:15:41
MrGoodKat, more like senior academy kid. Jokes apart good luck to him.

3.) 29 Jan 2021 16:03:30
yeah, it's unfortunate that he never continued playing well after 2018 WC - it's always more satisfying when an academy graduate makes it. Maybe the loan and getting out of Manchester will be good for him.

12 Jul 2017 18:48:37
10 mil for Adnan snap off their hand.

1.) 13 Jul 2017 00:20:45
All the best to the lad. So much promise unfulfilled. Hope he can get back on track in Spain. His farewell message was a nice touch albeit came across as a little bitter by referencing "some of the coaching staff"; clearly some people he has issues with and I'm guessing this is Jose and staff.
In today's prices £10m is nothing! Iheanacho is going for 2.5 times the price.

2.) 13 Jul 2017 07:48:01
Totally over hyped. Not the first and won't be the last.

3.) 13 Jul 2017 09:07:26
Iheanacho is more than 2.5 times better than him that is why. Talent wasted and we are lucky to get that amount for him, hopefully the funds raised will allow us to finalise with Perisic.

4.) 13 Jul 2017 09:52:39
Remember when PSG were willing to pay £40 million for him.

5.) 13 Jul 2017 11:12:50
We've done well getting that much for him. It's good to see we've started getting decent fees when selling. Maybe it's the market or maybe Woody is proving to be a good negotiator.

6.) 13 Jul 2017 11:22:37
Was that in the Daily Star?

7.) 13 Jul 2017 11:29:14
Psg would never have paid 40m for him.

8.) 13 Jul 2017 14:41:27
It was just before he signed his contract in 2013 when we made him the highest paid teenager in the world. I think Rashford and Sanches are currently the highest paid teenagers these days but it begs the question, does paying them so much ruin them.

9.) 13 Jul 2017 17:55:00
It can do grim.

05 Feb 2016 14:12:30
A quick question for any edds about,
Would it be possible for a club to put a clause in a contract to stop them going to a rival, or even to a PL club for a set period of time. Just thinking maybe this is why we are waiting for a certain special one.
A manager i once had was sacked and as part of his severance deal was that he could not manage another buisness in a 20 mile radius.

1.) 05 Feb 2016 18:54:45
Maybe Mourinho wants to wait till the summer. Pre season to get his ideas across, enough time to assess the squad and a summer window to get his players in.

2.) 05 Feb 2016 19:09:11
Not without the agreement of the particpant.

In the case of your old manager he will have agreed to that clause and as such probably got a larger severance package for doing so.

Under EU law you cannot enforce such a clause on someone without their consent. Its against the restriction of trade laws.

So if such a clause is holding Mourinho back from signing with United then it is only doing so because Mourinho agreed to such a clause as part of his exit from Chelsea.

3.) 05 Feb 2016 21:46:47
We sort of did that with Kenyon. He went on gardening leave for a bit. I think its been done before with managers just not made public.

4.) 05 Feb 2016 22:59:57
Just a mad conspiracy theory that came to me today!

5.) 05 Feb 2016 23:20:04
None compete clauses are very common in business although I have no idea whether they are in football. I suppose with football clubs becoming more and more like businesses it would not surprise me.

6.) 07 Feb 2016 09:22:33
I think Mourinho wants to weigh up his options before taking a new club over, plus all the negative stuff that was coming out about him before he got sacked will of died off by then.

19 Dec 2014 20:11:29
Ed what's the score with valdes? Tell me that lvg is not thinking of keeping him on. Ideal number 4 but no more than that! he's been training with us for a while its concerning me .

{Ed002's Note - Valdes is out of contract, returning from a lengthy lay off from injury and looking for first team football. If Manchester United lose Lindegaard and Valdes can prove his fitness, a short-term contract might suit all given he has been training with the squad. Liverpool had approached the player but Rodgers put his foot in his mouth over any possible deal.}

1.) Thanks ed i just hope de gea stays and signs a new contract i hope we are not looking at valdes just in case!

{Ed002's Note - Valdes will be related to Lindegaard.}

2.) Thank god!!! Cheers again ed

27 Jan 2014 14:04:27
Just spoke to a mate in spain who claims united rep in bilbao regarding muniain! Not sure if he's a prem player? Are any eds aware of this.

1.) 27 Jan 2014 15:09:44
I wish this were true. He is a top top player. 21 reminds me a bit of Davide Silva but quicker. He will only improve and is regarded as one of the best younsters in Spain

2.) He's stagnated somewhat over the past few season. Still a good player with a lot of potential. Could only be a good signing if it's around the £20m mark.

3.) If there is a rep there the they may be discussing Herrera

4.) He is working for Spurs. Boy wanted by Spurs.

And Joel glaziers apology is out.

1.) 21 Apr 2021 17:38:03
What a mad few days it has been. Been great to so many different people posting on here as well.

2.) 21 Apr 2021 20:57:00
Clearly not written or composed by him as he wouldn’t have a clue about passion, loyalty and the history of our club. What a shower of ***** our owners really are.

{Ed014's Note - same as the shower of utter 5h1te at Arsenal

3.) 21 Apr 2021 22:21:14
Agreed, but can’t see them going anywhere, unfortunately for both clubs 😢.

20 Apr 2021 20:33:10
All this disruptive b*llsh*t from the 6 clubs. I do wander what will football look like next season and how long it will take to repair the damage done by these greedy w##kers.
Its awfull to think of the potential irreparable damage that could have been done to the most historic and loved clubs.

20 Feb 2021 21:47:26
Setting up a search party for mighty reds, he's been gone for ages now.

29 Jan 2021 10:28:23
Eds, could we split the united pages into 3 camps?
Page 1 Ole is a clown/ idiot/ failed Cardiff city manger.

Page 2 we are going to win the league/ Ole's at the wheel

Page 3 sensible people who can debate and see other people's points of view without mudslinging.

1.) 29 Jan 2021 10:45:12
Page 4 Snowflakes segregation.

2.) 29 Jan 2021 11:17:08
simon, why are 1 and 3 or 2 and 3 exclusive of each other. I subscribe to 1 and 3?

3.) 29 Jan 2021 11:27:42
Mancman you could post on whatever page you see fit. Sorry If I inferred they were exclusive.

4.) 29 Jan 2021 13:14:14
page 4 the rose tinted brigade.

5.) 29 Jan 2021 13:30:29
sorry scoob did not see your page 4.

6.) 29 Jan 2021 14:52:50
God we lost one game and the meltdown and sniping is unreal, the Ed’s must like it when we lose though as the clicks on the site must quadruple haha. We all want the same thing for the club, every one of us thought Wednesday was sh1t, some people choose to have a meltdown, others look at the bigger picture. Nobody is wrong it’s just different ways to view the same situation.

You wouldn’t believe it as I know I’m positive on here but a lot of my mates think I’m super negative and the fact I’ve even suggested Ole isn’t good enough is ridiculous. But on here I’m seen as an Ole lover. I try and be pretty impartial and post win or lose.

There’s a lot going on in the world right now, let’s all have a big group hug and sing glory glory man united.

7.) 29 Jan 2021 14:58:54
page 5 those that don't read the posts.

8.) 29 Jan 2021 16:05:07
Don’t worry dazw. My feelings were hurt only for a moment.

10.) 29 Jan 2021 16:11:02
Who are your mates GDS2, the Care Bears?

11.) 29 Jan 2021 17:12:19
Page 7. I’m stropping off.

Mumbles, quality mate, quality 🤣.

12.) 29 Jan 2021 17:19:13

I guess there are just people out there who think Ole is doing a good job and has improved the team since he came in. I asked why they think he will do well and apparently I’m just super negative suggesting that I don’t think he’s the long term solution. I suppose if people don’t come on forums they don’t really have the whole doom and gloom to compare it to.

13.) 29 Jan 2021 17:25:12
Page 8. GDS2's mates who don't watch Man Utd.

14.) 29 Jan 2021 17:43:25
Hahaha, I wonder if anyone will join me on page 6.

15.) 29 Jan 2021 18:11:07
Page 1056 jesus I now regret posting this 😂😂.

16.) 29 Jan 2021 19:08:00

They do watch, they go to OT with me as season ticket holders, like I said, just don’t come on forums.

17.) 29 Jan 2021 22:35:12
On fire mumbles. 🤣
Page 666 for grumpy of old men like me and redman.
Shappy there would be no room for anybody else mate.

25 Jan 2021 12:40:59
Very surprised at Chelsea sacking Lampard. They are only 11 point of the top with a lot of games to play. A couple off wins/ losses for any team can change the whole league its that tight.
Thank god we stuck with Ole hopefully it will pay off.

1.) 25 Jan 2021 12:55:38
They are 9 behind City having played a game less, the league isn't as tight as you are making out, a couple of wins won't get them anywhere and having spent so much in the summer only to get worse I don't think anyone can be surprised that Roman has got rid of him, he is hardly knows for his patience.

2.) 25 Jan 2021 13:07:44
I don't see Tuchel as a step forward. I think Rodgers is perfect for them and the players they have.

3.) 25 Jan 2021 13:16:31
GDS2. Christmas 2020 we where well away form the top (30 points ish I think) and in dire form. After Christmas we were the best team in the league.
I agree that Roman isn't exactly know for his patience but they are far from being dead in the water.

11 points with half the season left its doable in my opinion, don't get me wrong I'm happy for them to chop and change the manager half way into the season, they will probably sack Tuchel before the season is done.

4.) 25 Jan 2021 13:17:31
If Roman was in charge of Liverpool he would have probably sacked Klopp after their poor run of form.

5.) 25 Jan 2021 13:20:03
Wazza Rogers is a bloody good shout he may have fond memories of Chelsea, although it's a poison chalice no manager last more than 2/ 3 seasons there.

6.) 25 Jan 2021 13:34:23
I don't think they bought well in the summer, I thought as team defensively they looked poor last season .
They spent major cash on players i'm not sure they need or fit in .
Not sure about tuchel in the epl either.

7.) 25 Jan 2021 14:49:26
I think that's why they sacked him now. 5 points off of 4th place, with a boost and some better performances they can still get into the top 4 this season. However, if they continue to slide down the table then it becomes much harder to claw back 12 points with 10 games left to play.

I feel a little sorry for Frank, it was too big a job too soon. He literally had only managed for 1 season. Then the 6 summer signings rocked the boat and he didn't have the experience to integrate them without putting his other players noses out of joint.

Players like James and Mount will be around for years to come. But Tomori, Abrahams and Hudson-Odoi it remains to be seen. But dropping them for the shiny new summer signings after they did so well last season has certainly caused tension behind the scenes.

Apparently people at the club were unhappy with him discarding Kepa after the club spent £71m to sign him a few years ago. Although not enough apparently to spend money this summer signing Mendy.

I think there is a lot of politics that goes on behind the scenes most of us will never know about, it seems there's more to this managing crack than getting the team to score goals.

8.) 25 Jan 2021 15:04:46
Only 3 more Chelsea managers till Christmas folks.

9.) 25 Jan 2021 15:14:12
It’s harsh but not really a surprise, this is how Roman operates. I think Ole would have gone, Arteta would have gone, Jose would have gone, even Klopp might have gone. There is no patience at Chelsea, it is about instant success and I guess he’s free to do as he pleases.

They bought a lot of new players, possibly too many, who will take time to integrate so to sack the Manager half way through the season is plain daft. However, look over the seasons since they won their first trophy of this era, I’m guessing they’ve won more trophies than any other team, so maybe it does work?

10.) 25 Jan 2021 15:26:27
AJH Maybe although City may have won more.

11.) 25 Jan 2021 17:37:54
Simon, it is difficult for them to bounce back mainly because several players especially Havertz and Werner are struggling badly.
Lamps doesn't even know his best XI.

12.) 25 Jan 2021 19:42:24
In the last 10 years, City and Chelsea are level.

God. Please don't let that happen to us 🙏, just being content with top four is not enough🤔😡 hopefully the glaziers have enjoyed the success of TNEP and push for some for us.

God arsenal would probably be very lucky to achieve top four on current form. I think shappy was referring to the old arsenal, when they where a decent side.

{Ed077's Note - they would probably want a open top, bus parade if that happened😂😂

I actually gave up my season tickets before the C.V., I couldn't justify the time away from my family and my son has no interest in football or going to matches. With The money I saved I have bought a hot tub, a cabin for it and a projector to watch games. I'm sure I will miss match days but I'm happy knowing the glaziers will be not getting any more of my money.

Or maybe when the grounds are full of fans there could be a vocal disturbance to let the whole world know how we feel about the glaziers? I'm sure voices would be heard around the world with anti glazier chants/ songs. Imagine 76.000 voices at OT, although maybe not ideal for the team🤔.

{Ed014's Note - I know mate but sadly that just continues to line their pockets and I don’t think the Glazers, Stan Kroenke or FSG would care

Ed014 I don't think we could hurt the club financially fron the UK. If regular match goers stopped going there would be plenty others who would fill their shoes. As far as merchandise the worldwide sales would be colossal compared to us in the UK. Today local fans have managed to derail a game and create a massive disturbance for the club, surely the glaziers will hear about it? Will they care, I'm not so sure but if these acts continue maybe they will take greater notice of the fans concerns going forward.

{Ed014's Note - just think it has to be financial to have any effect Simon, would love to see the stadiums empty.

That’s a huge thing to organise I know but for me that’s the way forward.
